DIY Wedding
Birdcage card holder spiffified! lol

I finally finished my birdcage card holder! It started off brown, but I wanted to lighten it up. So bought me some spray paint and poof, instantly spiffy! I attached a chocolate ribbon around the bottom so that no one can slip and cards out of the cage. And there is another burgundy ribbon on top of the chocolate. Ahh such a pretty color combo.

The cage was from Home Sense for about $30-40
The paint was $10
Ribbon from Michaels was $10

My mom is also working on painting the birdhouses. Painting is her thing lol so I am letting her take care of that!

IT's lovely, but you may want more ribbon around the cage, maybe one or two more rows...  people are notorious is stealing envelopes, and I'd hate to see any go missing!

I love this!  I couldn't find one that I liked anywhere and for a good price...so we went with the cardbox instead (still happy with it).  But very pretty!!!!
