Boudoir - Considering, Should I Should I not?? - JULYBRIDE's Blue Wedding by Color Blog

I'm curious about doing boudoir photo's as a gift of my FH for your seven year anni (July 30th) it's clse to our wedding and I want to do something different. I also want to do it because he probably think this is the last thing I would Prob do.

So my question to you ladies is .. how do you feel about doing and and if you have done it what was your experience and how much did it cost.

I got a quote (from a female photographer) for $300 for a 1 hr session including 50 photos printed and all images on a disc?

That sounds like a very good deal. I did it before Christmas I found a female photographer as I knew I def would not be comfortable with a male one. I brought my FH fav outfits that he likes me wearing like a red dress and things like that, I didnt really do any underwear shots as such I posted the pics on my blog. It took me a while to relax but the photogr will direct you on what way to pose and what looks good. I got my images printed and put in a portfolio album so I could give them to him as a wedding gift the morning of the wedding! I also did a post on my blog that a photogr wrote re the whole boudoir session.

iam doing this also..my wedding potographer is doing them..shes really great she is only charging me 40.00 for up to a 2 hour session and a 8x10 photo..if i want to buy the cd of all the photos its 75.00. i think its a great gift !

I was thinking of doing this until I researched the prices in my area...they are way expensive..over $500 and up to $1000 and that is only for the person to take the photography....I wish I could find it for $300 lol
