How many times have your changed your cake?

Well, this is my 3rd and last time I'm changing lol... This is the cake we want. Fo Sho! lol... But we'll be changing it up. Instead of it being square, we want it to be round. Not sure if I want to go with 5 layers, It would all depend on pricing. Change the hearts in the white layer into circle imprints. Just to keep the heart and polka dot theme... Do you ladies think I should change the pink ribbon to be chocolate brown? Well, this will be our cake =)

We haven't thought about changing his cake. He's not into having the fishing, baseball, basketball, team loving, pool balls or hunting type cake... He has several different hobbies and he loves sports but I can't get him to change it into something for him... He loves chocolate. So I guess thats his theme cake... lol

We changed our cake so many times I can't even count. Our colors are pink and black and he just wasn't understanding that we weren't having an all black cake! I kept showing him pictures of pink and white cakes and he'd just look at it and say "NO" haha. Finally we decided on one. We had to compromise on it a little but I'm ok with that because we finally came to a decision! Oh and I'm loving your pink and white cake you have up!

If you are wanting the five layers for the height and it cost too much just get your baker to put in fake tiers so much cheaper. Since he is having a grooms cake anyway, that is will be a lot of cake, and no one has to know that there is a fake tier or two in there....as for changing the ribbon, I wouldn't I  like it as is, you can always dress your table with all the brown accents, like table cloth etc....

FYI we changed our mind on cakes so many times....

Changed from a professional done cake to my cousin making it then changed again to just buying a bunch of chocolate varieties along with honey's favorite St. Honore (Italian wedding cake) as the main one.  Will cost more than my homemade but will be hundred's less than a bought one and will have 4 different types of flavors so everyone can pick.  Bought some beautiful cake stands in different sizes so will look beautiful.  Will not change my mind again.  LOL

To reply to your comment on my blog, do you have pictures on here of the brown tuxes?

Tons!! I've only been engaged for a short while but I started sketching designs for my cake RIGHT after I got engaged. I've been married before and for my first wedding it took me from the time we got engaged until 2 months before the wedding for me to finally decide on something and draw it for the baker. I first had tried to find pictures of a cake I liked, but I never could find the perfect one, so that's when I decided to sketch it out myself, picking out certain things from the pictures that I liked.
