Finally Picked a Venue

So Joe and I got engaged in March and are planning our wedding for September 2009. Since then I have looked at a million different locations including local venues, Rehoboth Beach, DE and Aruba. Well, I finally got around to making a decision on the location. We are not getting married in a Catholic Church despite my mother's best efforts, we will be getting married outside with the river behind us at Swan Point.

Just saw your post about finding your dress.  Congrats.  I'm from VA and that's awesome you found a great deal in Tyson's of all places.  Our wedding officiant (JOP) is the only thing my mom has objected to for my wedding...I wanted to get married in the mountains--so no go on the church thing.  He is Catholic so on our 1 year anniversary we are having it blessed by the Catholic Church by doing a renewal of the vows--perhaps and option for you if you wanted to.  Congrats on the engagment and upcoming wedding!
