Wedding Decoration
Ceremony Site

I want green and white pomanders hanging from shepherd's hooks with a navy ribbon for the aisle. I like this picture with the tulle, but I am worried that it would be too much since the site has the great view. I will probably put waist high hooks at every other row of chairs. By the gazebo where we will be standing, I was thinking of having a taller shepherd's hook on either side of us. I don't really want to spend too much money on decorating the ceremony site since we will only be there for half an hour and I think my crafty aunt and I could make these fairly cheaply.

I made DIY pomanders to do the same thing, and I spent over $100 on just the fake flowers alone...and they were 50% off...I'm still thinking about cutting this project out. However it is beautiful in pictures, so maybe not. Good luck girl!

I know one of my friends used the pomanders from the ceremony (that she used just like you want to) and used them in their centerpieces on some of the tables at the reception in a container...and it looked really good the way she decorated it! Just a way to save some money!

I know! I was surprised how expensive even a cheap silk carnation is. I spent approximately 20 bucks on flowers for one pomander...
