Spring 2012 Brides Where are you!!

Getting Married Spring of 2012??

I am & now that it's 2011, I can say "I'm getting married next year!" Every single time I would tell someone I'm getting Married April 2012 they would give me a crazy look and say 'wow that's a long time away" Well now I'm that much closer!!!

Are there anymore Spring 2012 brides out there? If so, how much of the planning have you done??

I've booked the venue, said yes to the dress, and had 1 food tasting so far. Since we changed our date from Fall of 2011, I pumped my brakes a bit and will be picking back up in April of this year. Can't wait!!!! My fiance thinks I'm crazy ahead of the game in planning but, I do know some April 2012 brides that have EVERYTHING booked & all dresses purchased so I think I'm a tad bit behind, lol!

YAY! I completely understand what you mean. When I tell people I'm getting married on May 19, 2012 they give a look like "why so far away"? Now, we can say next year! So far, I've booked my venue, caterer (exclusive to the venue, so I didn't have a choice), and my video/photo. Haven't been to any food tastings, but looking forward to it : )

Ahhhh.... I remember we started planning our wedding in November 2009 which was 13 months before our wedding and even that people were saying that it was so far away. Before we knew it, it was here and we were barely ready. Believe me when I say that there is definately a "down" time where you take a break from the planning but if I can offer ANY advice..... don't leave everything to the last minute. The more you can get done early, the better!! Happy planning.

im June 23, 2012 and i have already done a lot of planning. i am also and out of town bride so i took advantage of being home for the holidays. we went to the church, met with a photographer, tried on lots of dresses, and been contacting a lot of venues. and im glad i did, because a lot are saying "these are my 2010 prices, they are going up. book now to guarantee the 2010 price!" this was a big deal price wise! lol. happy new year and planning!

Hi, I'm getting married June 23 2012! I have lots of ideas but nothing book yet..I guest i must hurry a little! I realize that last night that it was already 2011...Now 2012 look much closer, lol. Good luck with your weeding planning too ;).

I am a 2012 Fall bride. I totally can relate, I was just talking to Fh about that morning actually,lol. One year to go WOOHOO!;)

Im getting married June 23rd also, ive got big lists ready, im going to the venue again today then its on with the proper planning! I want to make sure everything is in place well within time so there is less stress when the date finally comes! Good luck to all! 2012 weddings are the best! Fact!

My wedding day is May 26, 2012. Its so close. Yet so far away lol.

But yes I feel the same way you do. I like the fact i can say my wedding is nex year.

I have picked out my dress. have my shoes etc. I have my weddin gparty picked out. my hall and place we are getting married. There is still so much to do!

My Fiance' and I got engaged on Christmas of 2010 we are getting marry in 2012 too, I like Fall September 15, 2012 and like Spring May 19, 2012.. we visit different venues.

Hi :) i'm getting married 21st APRIL 2012. I haven't yet pick my outfit but have one picked out,need to lose a few pounds first. Wish i could get it asap. I have booked the church and the venue, design the bridesmaids dresses(gonna order nearer the time) Done my table plan even done my place cards and table names, trying to get everything done so if anything goes wrong nearer the time i don't have to worry to much. Cant wait till next spring, think i am driving my partner crazy already lol :)
