Happy New Years Ladies! 2013 is here and I will be in Maui Hawaii next year for our 15th Anni...
So I need to hear from the ladies, my FH and I are going over our catering quote and we are completely satisfied with everything until, dunnn dunn dunn!! The FH mentioned that he wants to add something to the menu. We are having an Italian themed menu with all pastas, salad, and Italian appetizers. The FH mentioned that he would like to have pizza on the menu. I cringed at the thought of it at first. Then he started saying how different it would be to offer it as an option. The caterer that we are using offers pizzas as an option as well.
Background story:We have pizza every Sunday it’s our “thing” to start the week we cook together I deep fry the chicken wings and he tends to the pizza. So it’s a little bit of “us”. I am having a hard time with the presentation of the pizza.
If we do 10 pizzas on the buffet table how do we offer that in a classy way? Our appetizers will be hand severed by servers during cocktail hour and then our reception will be buffet style with salads and different pastas- Bolognese, Fettuccine, Jambalaya.
Any and all ideas are greatly appreciated ladies. I’m trying to keep an open mind about it and he has a right to want something “special” at the wedding too so help me!!!
