Hair clip
So, I went home today for my lunch break and as the FH and I were headed back (carpooled) I stopped and thought about getting the mail. Good thing I did. My package was here already! Didn't you tell me like yesterday you had just sent it! So wonderful how fast that was. Well the FH and I opened the package and wow, my clip is sooooooooo pretty! I was trying to inform the FH how I got it b/c you know men think we spend money on everything when it comes to the wedding, lol and he was like "wow, that was so nice of her!" He thinks its beautiful and so do I! I can't wait to get home tonight and wash my hair and try it out in different styles. Even if I do or dont wear it for the wedding it will be worn b/c it's so my style. I could see me wearing it to work, to the mall, anywhere! Thank you again! And ladies, check out her shop b/c her clips are awesome and so real looking! Luv it! FABULOUS!

Budget cut/guest list cut
I hate to do this
So, apparently my time is winding down. Time I thought I had, I really don't. I know my days to wedding says 213, but I leave for another country in October and wont get back stateside until after the new year. That's a lot of planning I can't be hands on with and I just feel uncomfortable. With that said, I just don't have enough $$$ to rush through this as fast as I want. Our guest list went out of control and now we are doing damage control. Initially I wanted the wedding for 100 people, but our families are so huge I compromised for 150. List comes back, ends up being 200-250. Right now we are trying to work it back down to 100. I'm really stressing ladies. What do I do? So much to do in so little time. I feel as if I have accomplished ZILCH! ughhhhhh!
P.S I rather cut people and still have an elegant wedding versus inviting everyone and slacking everywhere else. I do not want a thrown together wedding! |

I know its a few days early but I'm on a mini vacay after today and I just wanted to wish her luck! I just love her blog and I find myself checking it out quite often. Military Brides/Milary Wives
How many do we have out there???
Just giving it up to my military brides/wives! Take it from someone who was full time active duty and now working for the military full time and still serving my country, this job can be very consuming. Trying to plan a wedding and dealing with the military 24/7 can be very demanding!!!
Just wanted to say thank you to all my military women out there and also a huge thank you to the military wives because of your support the men couldn't do it without you. also sending one out to my FH b/c he supports me for putting my life on the line at any given moment for my president and my country. GOD BLESS!!! |

My friend went to Disney World this past weekend and I was showing her this site and she fell in love with the damask theme. So while she out she found this cute bag, so I had to take a pic of it and show all you damask brides. She said it cost about 20-25 bucks.

Has anyone picked out a wedding gown and has seen NO OTHER BRIDE with it???? I think having a dress that unique is great, but to have no one else with that style at all makes me rethink my decision on my bridal gown...I love my dress dont get me wrong, but I don't know what this feeling is...I felt so beautiful with it on, but I guess I'm second guessing my taste. Oh what to do....
I don't have a pic on here with my dress in case the FH sees my page. I can give the name b/c I know he's not nosey enough to find it. It's a Maggie Sottero Milana, without the cap sleeves. Lt gold with champgane and lt gold accents. I'm going to have it altered to be more of a mermaid style. So is it just me???? HELP PS this dress pictured is not my dress and on the Maggie site, it's the Milana not the Beth with the black detailing. My dress is Lt. Gold |
