Wedding dresses

Has anyone picked out a wedding gown and has seen NO OTHER BRIDE with it???? I think having a dress that unique is great, but to have no one else with that style at all makes me rethink my decision on my bridal gown...I love my dress dont get me wrong, but I don't know what this feeling is...I felt so beautiful with it on, but I guess I'm second guessing my taste. Oh what to do....

I don't have a pic on here with my dress in case the FH sees my page. I can give the name b/c I know he's not nosey enough to find it. It's a Maggie Sottero Milana, without the cap sleeves.
Lt gold with champgane and lt gold accents.

I'm going to have it altered to be more of a mermaid style.

So is it just me???? HELP

PS this dress pictured is not my dress and on the Maggie site, it's the Milana not the Beth with the black detailing. My dress is Lt. Gold

Love love love this dress!
Maybe no one else chose it because you have to have a certain body type to wear it. I wish I had a body like the model ! Unfortunately, I am more of a pear body type, (thanks to my kids) so I have to steer clear of mermaid dresses. But I am sure it will look fantastic on you!

I have never seen anyone else with my dress either.  When I bought it, I couldn't even find pictures of it online to show my family - but to be honest, I have thought of that as a unique find - it is something that is stunning to me, but yet someone else probably won't have the same dress as me ever.  I think it makes it more personal, and you found a dress that maybe really was just for you ... it is all about the way you feel when you are wearing it, what you think about ... if you love it, don't change it!

and I just looked at the pic of it, and it is stunning.  Jawdropping.  Def keep it, as it will be a memorable dress!!!

I second that!!!  Then again....I'm a non-traditional bride & a lot of girls are not into the whole black details...although it seems to be trending that more and more girls are toying with the idea of something other than just an all white or ivory dress...more girls are adding their bold touches and I think it's fabulous!!!  Don't get me wrong...an all-white or ivory dress is just as beautiful =)  Just depends on what you like =)

But be proud that you'll have an original or pretty close to it...i find there's something nice about having something out of the ordinary and it makes it a lil more "you" =)

MRSBRETT - Mermaid dresses are the hottest on pear shapes!!! It shows your curves! I am small, but I have curves and my dress is very fitted... I love it and NO ONE else has it that I've seen... now around Des Moines, maybe, but it's highly unlikely. It's not a traditional dress!

The only other bride that I have seen wearing my dress is in Elegant bride magazine in the Real Weddings. The lady that owns the bridal boutique that i bought my dress from said that all the other ladies that tried on my dress didn't have enough guts to buy it! I love have a unique dress :)

That dress is beautiful. Do not question it at all. Noone had my dress...thats because I had it custom made but I like the fact noone else has it and noone has seen it before on anyone else.

I think that it is a REALLY good thing if no one else has your dress!!! It is your day and you are going to rock your own dress :) Plus, it is very beautiful...great taste!

i've seen my dress a couple of times--once on this site, which is how I found WBC---but that bride no longer posts.  But I am getting it in red---so I know noone in my family has seen that.  

Your dress is very beautiful.  I love that you are getting  it in Lt. Gold.  You have no reason to second guess.  It's beautiful and you will make him drop his jaw!

I love Maggie Sottero dresses, they are all beautiful. My first pick was a Maggie Sottero Monal Lisa Royale.. Your dress is very pretty. Im sure you will look stunning in it!
