At first sight of them I was like there is NO way I could ever do that. But then after a few months ...

Ask a Question
Break a contract: Has anyone done this?
I'm thinking about breaking my photography contract.
The photograhers are a husband and wife duo. The husband met with FH and I and we really liked him so we signed a contract and put a $700 deposit down. Since then, the wife and I have corresponded regarding the details. A few weeks ago, she said she would email me a timeline (so my other vendors could coordinate) "soon". Two weeks roll around and no timeline so I email her and call her twice in one day. No answer and no response. So I called her husband, he was very nice and got me the timeline BUT I don't get a good vibe from the wife. Thus, I want to break the contract. Also, I re-read the contract. Apparently, touching up photos is up to their discrepancy. When we first met with the husband, I am pretty sure he said they touched up all photos. How do I do this and get my $700 back? Any words of wisdom? |

Bride entrance song
Crazy idea
Today at work, while listening to youtube, I re-listened to a song from Slumdog Millionaire. Latika's Theme - A. R. Rahman featuring Suzanne
FH and I love this song...in fact, the whole soundtrack. I am debating using this as my ceremony entrance song. The wedding march doesn't envoke any emotion from me but this song does. Crazy idea? |

Ask a Question
Help if you know invitation etiquette!
Question #1
For pocket fold invitations, are you supposed to do an inner and outer envelope? Someone told me that it's not proper etiquette when you have pocket folds. Question #2 Do you put the envelope liner on the outer or inner envelope? Sorry for the ignorant questions, I'm more of an email/evite type of person. |

Candy
Hershey Kisses Info
Today I was curious about the lifespan of Hersey Kisses. Really, my curiosity was over how soon I could buy the Kisses and make the favor boxes.
So I called Hershey's to find out! On each bag of chocolate, there is a code. Only the last 2 digits are important. This code will let you know the "best use by" date. Second to last digit - Year 8 - 2008 9 - 2009 0 -2010 Last digit - Month A - Jan B - Feb C- Mar D - Apr (so forth) L - Dec Hope this helps! Oh yeah, the best temp to store it is from 65 to 70 degrees. |

Rehearsal Dinner Dress
I LOVE THIS!!!
It's an After Six style #6507 dress that's meant to be a bridesmaids dress. I don't know if I'll do white lace with white satin, I may do white lace with light pink satin!
On the weddingbee.com, a girl is actually using it for her wedding dress. I absolutely love it for the rehearsal dinner! |

Wedding Flowers
Are you getting a separate bouquet for the toss?
My florist says this is a good idea since the brides bouquet is normally too heavy. Is anyone getting a separate one just got the toss? If so, is it made of real flowers or fake?
Any tips on a DIY bouquet would be helpful too. |

Wedding Dress
Please help...size dilemma
Before buying a size 16 wedding dress, I told my dress consultant that I was going to lose a lot of weight before the wedding. She assured me they can take it down 2 sizes.
(That sounds like a super duper large size but I really am a street size 10-12). I signed up for a diet program and am on a projected path to lose approx. 55 pounds before the wedding. This is more than 2 dress sizes. Should I trade in my dress now (David's Bridal doesn't allow returns) and get a size 14 or a size 12? Pic - Me in the size 16 (fake smile, sis took the pic on her cell to send to mom) |
