While reading the latest edition of the magazine "Modern Bride", I couldn't believe a statistic they had:
18% of people admitted to texting during a wedding!
Have you ever texted during someone's wedding? How would you react if you saw someone texting during your ceremony?
Nothing infuriates me more than:
A) People texting when out on a date/out with friends. I have actually LEFT a friend at a restaurant, in the middle of dinner, when they were texting under the table.
B) People texting at weddings.
C) People texting at funerals.
If you can't keep your fingers off the keys, leave the phone at home. None of these are appropriate places to be screwing around with your cell phone, and I would be enraged as either a bride OR a guest if I saw someone sitting on their cell phone during the wedding ceremony.
but i'm sure my DOC will be making sure things are running smoothly. once i'm at the altar all i care about if my husband and saying those vows to him.
its another thing if the phones goes off, totally inappropriate and i might give a dirty look and scold you afterwards especially if its someone I'm very close to.
I have a lot of friends and family who either work as doctors, lawyers, police officers, who are mothers and fathers, have sick relatives so I understand the need to be able to text and answer a call when needed.
Thank you for your comment on my something old-new-borrowed-blue, I wish borrowed and old could be the same thing because if that was it, I will be all ready.
Also, I can see that your big day is coming up soon, Congratulations, I hope all the planning is going well.
