After googling different diy monogram aisle runner I decided I wanted to try and do it for my wedding.I created my monogram on microsoft powerpoint with Edwardian script. I then went to Fedex kinkos and got it blown up to poster size which cost i think $2 i'm not for sure. I purchased an aisle runner, acrylic paint (black and red) from Wal-Mart, I also bought some wax paper to protect my dinning table because the paint bleeds through.I taped the wax paper down and the monogram down to prevent movement. I placed the runner on top of the monogram and traced the design with a mechanical pencil. After tracing I painted one color at a time to prevent bleeding. I let it dry for two days resting in the same place before rolling it back up and putting it away. The overall time it took me was 4 days on and off.
