Wedding Flowers

Went to one place so far to see about flowers

Today was our first visit to a florist here in town called 'Pettles Of Love' and we had a good hour or so talking to a florist there. She was very helpful in providing us with pictures and ideas of flowers that we may like for our wedding ceremony, reception and even our cake. We plan to check out a few more places but so far we were happy with this one florist. It was nice to have my fiance there with me although he was very content in letting me choose what I liked. He really doesn't know flowers and he trusts my judgment.

Question for you brides out there, what do you think of purple roses? My mom said they are hidious and my dad says no way because they are fake cause they are dyed that color, meaning they are not natural. My parents are big flower/ plant/ gardners so know their flowers. I mentioned this to the florist of my parents comment on the purple roses and apparently you can now get lighter purple roses that natural grow that way they are not dyed. Now I don't love purple roses but one or two might be nice especially if they are not the dyed ones.
Wonder how I can convince mom and dad LOL ?
