Wedding Decoration
Bird Cage Couture Doll
This is a Bird Cage Couture Doll made by Sandra Evertson (http://www.sandraevertson.blogspot.com), which will be displayed on the fireplace mantel of the main dinning room. She custom created it to match the wedding colors and theme. I absolutely love it! Here is a description of my doll:
*Antique birdcage circa 1910. *Paper reproductions from my private collection of rare 18th century wallpaper and fashion plates. *Circa 1900 gold lame` filigree lace for dress bodice and small front flounce. *Champagne colored silk shantung large dress flounce. *Hand dyed cream tulle, 3 tiered dress flounce. *Front drape circa 1910 Brussels lace. *Her earrings are a tiny 24kt gold bead and freshwater pearls. *Her necklace and the 3 front tiered garlands draped over the birdcage, are a combination of varying sizes of white and peach tone natural freshwater pearls with 3 hand dyed blush toned, antique silk pom poms topped by crystal beads. *She has a Venetian styled mask covered in gold crushed glass glitter as well as a fan made from antique feathers. *Her crown consists of an antique gold Fleur di Lis` centerpiece, accented with a beautiful pink gem stone, vintage millinery flowers and more feathers. *There are little bits of red accents: her red lips, scattered red roses on the wallpaper and on the wardrobe of the engraving on the bottom of the cage. *Tucked underneath her dress, inside the cage is a sweet little vintage bird, painted in soft tones of blush and taupe. *The entire doll, including cage stands 21 tall x 19 wide. *Her hair is made from natural Platinum blonde lambs wool. *She has delicately painted hands and finger tips and ice blue eyes. |

Wedding Reception
Marie Antoinette Host a Venetian Masquerade Ball in Italy!!!!
My venue will be the beautiful Bella Collina! It has the Italian look that I want. My Fiancé proposed in Venice so we want to go with a Venetian / Italian looking venue fused with the style and flair of Marie Antoinette!
