...wouldn't be a reflection of me!!! I love the color Purple...always have. Allll shades, allll hues, allll the time. Lilacs, lavenders, amethysts, eggplants, plums, you name it. If it's purple, I love it! So of course, I had to incorporate the color into our wedding. Boo-skey's fave color is BLUE, but since we eh hem..."dislike" the Dallas Cowboys (another story) we decided against that color. So PURPLE it is!!!!
Since our wedding is to take place in the evening, we have opted for the deepest, most saturated shade of purple. We are calling it "REGAL" purple, with black and white damask. Hints of silver and "bling" just for sparkle will be added as well.
The "feel" or "tone" of the reception is swanky, upscale, old Hollywood glam. I'm creating a lounge area near the host bar with uplighting, lounge chairs and floor rug, and pub-style tall cocktail tables. Dancing is an absolute MUST!!!
