My Wedding Day...Look Book, RED Accents

Sometimes I think it would be romantic to not go so "matchy-matchy" with my accessories and the decor. I'm thinking of wearing ROSE RED accessories with MY gown against my deep regal purple and black and white damask decor. No other red wld be incorporated. Hmmm...Inspiration board to see how that "jives" as a vision instead of just in my head.

Sweet...I have an inspiration board with me with purple bouquet, shoes, etc.  Did you see it?  But how thought, how DRAMATIC would it be if I had RED accents amidst the purple and black and white damask?  What do you think?

I think it sounds rather fantastic... It'll make for some amazing photos with your bridal party. Should you put a pop of red somewhere on the grooms attire? A red feather in a purple boutt or...? So the two of you have something to special...

Sparklette....that was the only thing, I was wondering how it would look that me and groom didn't match.  Good idea to just add a little red to his 'bout!!!  We aren't having a bridal party.  NO WAY!  Not for us.  LOL.

Ahhh well if you're not having a bridal party then I would most certainly give him just a little hint of red somewhere. Just imagine, when you get to look back at your wedding photos and have this gorgeous sort of secret with your hubby.

Sparklette....it may just be the RED then.  Did you see the all purple black and white inspiration board too?  I just can't decide.  They are both really fantastic.  Just thinking the RED "pops" would be super GLAM....

Sparklette...UH.  You are not making this decision any easier!  I guess I still have time to think.  The purple is nice, but I don't know why I lean towards red.  Hmmm, hmmm, hmm.  We'll see...

You lean towards red cause it's bold. It looks good with the black and white.
Whichever way you go I'm excited to help out any way I can. As you're going damask with your black and white and I am not we can borrow each others ideas, ha ha.

Hmmm the purple, red, and damask may be challenging. I'm wondering if those colors will fight against the damask? I have yet to seen those colors together with the damask print. Maybe you can do touches of damask here and there.

Hmmm hard to tell. But the only red wld b my personal accessories. Shoes and bouquet only. Everything else wld stay true to the deep purple and damask color scheme.

I love the little hint of red , ithink it makes a dramatic statement. we have almost the same colors , i am struggling with candy apple red, plum gold andblack and white.

thanks soonmrswhite!!!!  i was debating at the time on whether to go with all purple with black and white damask or to use pops of RED for some drama.  I ended up deciding to use purple everywhere except for the flowers in the centerpieces.  They will be RED ROSES.  I think they are ultra romantic and they are what FI always sent me when we were long distance.  To me they are always appropriate and I don't think they have to be so matchy-matchy.
