FI booked a SURPRISE honeymoon...and I LOVE IT!!!!

Yeah!! thats awesome! we were looking at Jamaica too, i've been there before but fh hasn't and it was my favorite of the down south places I have been, you will havea great time!!

Isn't Jamaica amazing?!!  I'm too excited!!  Yes, it was cool of him to do that and makes it all the more thrilling.  Now the hard part is going to be telling the discussion board I started on the other resort's site that we decided to go somewhere else.  LOL.

All inclusive is the bomb! Make sure you get insurance for the trip and if you don't have already; make sure you apply for your passports at least 2 months before going. Congrats girly!

chocolatesoul...you have GOT to upload alot of pics and recap alot of details since you are going before us.  we are passport holders and have been for years.  we travel ALOT!!

Amazing post!!! if you want more pics I have some, it just takes so darn long to up load them to this site, lol. Do you know which room you got?  We stayed on the main side and we LOVED IT!!! Now I will tell you now, on the map of the hotel they show a small little path/street you have to walk across to get the beach, yeah, um its a busy street! BUT NO WORRIES!! They have a bus that runs I think every 15 minutes to take you from one side to the other.

As far as packing, don't over pack the fee on the planes is not worth it! pack some mix and match tops and bottoms, and they have a nice restaurant that he can not wear sneakers to or jeans, we didnt know that so we couldnt go.

Oh and we did the dunns river falls, WELL WORTH IT!!! you climb 1000 feet up a water fall! It looks harder than it is, and the memories you can create there are wonderful.

For us we walked as much as possible to breakfast and other things to try to get in a workout before gorging (sp) ourselves at the all you can eat restaurants.

Also, we had a little string backpack that came in handy, waterproof, held our cameras, "resort card' and gifts we picked up while out.

OH and the reason I started to comment, our room on the mainside came with its own pool!!! We promised everyday we would use it, and never did, lol.  We did get to the big pool and at night it is beautiful, all other couples were back in the room so we had the whole pool to ourselves, except for a sneaky little couple in the hot tub, hehehe.

Sorry so long, I read horror stories from some really picky people before I went and it scarred the crap out of me.  If they could just get some real deserts for chocoholics like me then they would be a 6 star :).

rmmharrison....don't apologize!!  i loooove long comments to my posts!  as long as they aren't snarky or someone who was offended by something i did/said and wants to harp on me.  LOL!!!  but your's was positive...and VERRRY informative!!  We are staying in the villas behind the main house..."Honeymoon Bourgainvillea Hideaway Suite" is what the confirmation invoice says!  i am so excited, i'm almost nearly done with my wardrobe.  HA.  i know from experience to take only flip flops (gold, brown, and black will go with anyyyy thing).  i've stayed with Sandals before, in Montego Bay, so i have a couple of dresses and 1 pair of nicer shoes, but they are still flip flops.  LOL.  Just dressier with a little heel on them.  

i had ***NO*** idea about a street to the beach?!  what gives?  but i love the beach so much, i'm willing to deal with it.  awesome to have the heads up though!!
