who pays for his ring??

I'm a young bride so be nice!! :)

Me and my future husband have a never-ending battle bout who pays for the groom's wedding ring. Evident;y the traditions are different depending on where you are from?? I'm originally from Michigan where the bride pays for the grooms ring, but here in Florida they say the groom buys his own ring?? Can someone please clarify this for me? Who really pays for his ring???

well I'm from Michigan too and I'm paying for my Fh's ring...I haven't heard of the groom ever paying for his ring.

Im not from michigan or flordia.. but we are buying each others rings... Ive never heard of the groom buying his own ring...

My FH and I already live together so WE paid for his.

Really, some traditions are silly. I personally think this is one of them and that it shouldn't matter who bought it.

Man, we haven't gotten our wedding bands yet... But we'll be paying together, that what we did with the entire wedding :)
