Second dress for the reception???
Hey Laydeez,

Anybody considering a second dress for the reception?
As my wedding is gonna be in the middle of summer in scorching heat, I was thinking I'd slip into a light chiffon piece after the first dance.
This is what I had in mind (see pic). I found a copy of the dress on Ebay for cheap as well. What ya'll think? Are you going to change into something else or will you stay in your wedding gown all night?

I picked a gown that is naturally light weight and ballerina length for this reason. I won't be changing, I might take of the shoes near the end, but that's all. I gave my FH the option of changing into a khakis, ivory shirt and pool tie after the ceremony and first dance, but he doesn't think he will. We'll have it on standby just in case!

This is a beautiful Marchesa gown. There are a lot of websites that recreate red carpet looks, since this was one of the favorites at the golden globes that year I bet someone made it. I say go for it.

I'm thinking that towards the end of the night and for the afterparty I will put on something shorter. If you are having a formal wedding I recommend something flirty for the reception.

YES, I'm wearing a second dress for the reception. I haven't found one yet, I finally got my dress for the wedding ceremony. Anyway, I really like this dress, perfect for a summer wedding!!!

This is a great idea! I have been considering the myself. My dress has a very full- heavy bottom. Were having our reception outside so I don't want to be hot and uncomfortable  on my wedding day. This dress is beautiful. I saw a similar light weight dress worn by Lindsey Lohan I would love to find.

The Seller is dress_it_plus_size. I have received my dress very quickly and I love it!! It's great quality and looks stunning on!
The Seller has a lot of other dresses as well, but I don't know how good quality they are. This one is perfect though!
