Chivari Chairs

I LOVEEEE, loveee, love these chairs. So much in fact that when shopping for venues it was on my "must haves" list. I think they are elegant and simple and I am just far more attracted to them than the chairs with covers/sashes.

My venue doesn't have these chairs :( And when I called for a quote to rent them I got $1500. Absolutely not.

However Heidi, my fabulous wedding day coordinator/expert has found me a quote for $7 a chair including seat cushion!! I am so pumped. Totally worth the elegance they will provide the room (although my sister disagrees).

The only thing is that they are dark brown as shown in the second picture at our venue. Heidi said they are not noticeably brown but I was really hoping for the black ones (first picture). Oh well I'm just super happy that I can have these chairs!!

*correction the chairs are $8 each but still doable*

I love this look too!! I prefer these chairs than the old style of over weight white chair cover and a colored sash  around them!! 7 thats what coordinators are for to find great deals for you:)

No offense to anyone having chair covers and sashes, but personally  i absolutely HATE chair covers and sashes. Every wedding, banquet, baby shower, etc that i have been to has had them and they are totally uncomfortable! They slide off and they make you legs and butt sweat(lol). I am definitely splurging on chiavari chairs. I figure by the time you spend moola on covers and sashes you can add a few bucks per chair and go for the chiavaris, yes deffinitely a great decision on your part!
