Wedding Vows
Thoughts?

"To my soon to be husband:

My one and only love. My first, my last. My everything.

I take you, with all your faults and strengths, as I offer myself to you with all my faults and strengths. I will help you when you need help, and turn to you when I need help. I choose you as the person with whom I will spend my life.

I vow to be loyal and faithful in good times and bad times. To cheer you up when you are sick or sad. I promise to listen when you want to have a serious talk. To be affectionate and caring. But, above all, I strive to be the best person I can possibly be for you and our future children, who I certainly hope take after you and your kind soul. I promise all these things to you now, and forever.

It’s because of you that I know how to love and to be loved and for that I am eternally grateful. I love you with my entire mind, heart and body ‘till death do us part."

I did want to add more personal info in the vows like how he made me feel when he first said I love you or what a crazy ride it's been to get to this point but I'm thinking I will save that for the note I give him before the wedding. What do you think? I timed it to be a minute. Is that too short?

I CANNOT look like those pictures on the actual wedding day. I hope to recite these vows enough so that doesn't happen although I do want to express true emotions and not sound like a robot...

Very sweet, The emotion is real. I cry everytime I read the vows I have written to my FH. I think if there is more you want to profess in front of your family and friends then add more if not what you have is heartfelt and is the promise you vow to make to him. It is such a blessing to find love.

I love your wedding vows, they are very sincere. This is your day so feel free to add more personal information if you like. Don't worry about how long it is. Express every emotion you want to your husband. I have already written my vows and I start to get so emotional when I read it too.

I already know I will be crying (I usually don't hard- a couple tears). I just plan not to wipe my face so my make-up may get ruined lol

awww *tear* so sincere and true :) i think the vows are perfect and you're free to add whatever else you wish to, its your day and you know how far you have come :) i need to start working on mine too hehehehehe lol

Aww. I really love this. H2B and I are writing our own vows. I know that we are going to be an emotional wreck. But, I don't want to cry to much to ruin my make-up just in time for pictures.
