Black and brown are usually an interesting combo. But this looks sharp. Groomsmen will be wearing black vests and brown ties.

...I want to do something a little out of the ordinary for a guest book. I like the idea of having either a picture frame guestbook or having the guests sign an actual coffee table book. I saw another bride use this idea, and I love it. The book could be a photography book of Mexico, since that is where we are going on our honeymoon. Guest could sign wherever they wanted inside the book.

This is what I envision for the color scheme. The white chairs will be perfect. I also need to decide how to decorate the gazebo. I like way the lights look under the fabric.

I finally got my dress today! I'm hesistant to put the picture on here because I'm afraid Ryan will see it, but it's a Maggie Sottero dress, and it's gorgeous. I can thank my wonderful wedding planner extraordinaire, Rachel (in the picture) for picking it out for me.

The reception will be in the evening, so having lights will be important. I have some ideas for what I want to do, possibly tiki torches, laterns, candles, or a combination of all three!

One of my bridesmaids is making the cake for our wedding. She is awesome. These are the pictures we have talked about having it look like.

For the reception, I'd like to use this idea from Michaels.com and do a candy buffet, sticking the with the chocolate/gold color scheme.

Finding this color of peach has been really difficult. Everyone has a different image when I say peach roses. But these have always been my favorite. If anyone has a different color description, let me know!

The second picture is how I want to arrange the flowers. My question is...how hard would it be to arrange my own bouquet? I'm thinking about ordering the flowers wholesale and doing my own arrangments. That doesn't look to difficult...

We've finally decided to have both the ceremony and reception at my parent's outdoor river property. It's going to be beautiful.

So this isn't how Ryan asked me to marry him, but rather, how I asked my bridesmaids to be in my wedding. I came up with the idea after seeing someone fold a dollar bill into the shape of a ring. After printing little messages on paper, I folded them into rings, placed them in ring boxes, and mailed them to my 6 bridesmaids. They were so excited!
