Guest Book/Wish Tree
I am planning on having both a guest book and a wish tree. The guest book at the ceremony and then the wish tree at the reception. I was trying to be creative and come up with a unique way of doing our guest book. I wanted it to have pictures of Glen and I and then have our guests sign it. So I was at WallyWorld last night getting a few things and decided to take a stroll down the clerence isle. I found a white photo album that had lines next to where the pictures go in and thought it would be perfect for our guest book.
Then I started to think about our wish tree and how we wanted to put all the wishes together in a book with pictures from the reception. Then it hit me! I could do almost the same thing with the photo album! Unfortunatley I couldn't find another white one but found a pink one that was PERFECT! So now all I have to do is decorate them with a few daisys and they will be the most perfect guest book/wish tree thingy I could ever imagine! The best part of all this was that the photo albums originally were $25 and I found them on sale for $7! Couldn't pass them up! |

Wedding Rings And Jewelry
FOUND IT!!!
So today I had a couple extra minutes before I had to go to work and I stopped in a friend of a family's jewelry store and was just going to look around. Well I started looking around and found the perfect ring for Glen. I asked them how much and she said $280. I was pretty satisfied with that price but then she goes but for you I will sell it to you for $140. I was like that is AWESOME!!!!
So now Glen has to go get his finger sized and then should have it within a couple days of him sizing! I am so excited!!! Oh and did I tell you Glen doesn't know what it looks like? Also while I was there I inquired about getting my rings separated because when he gave it to me there were already soldered together. She said if I had the time she would do it for me right then for free! Definitely recommend Balano Jewelry to any of the KC brides out there. |

Connections Severed
Out of the Loop
Even though the wedding isn't until next April I still am one of those people who like to stay on top of things and plan them to death. I've been without my computer for 10 whole days and I feel like I'm so far behind!! Also have no way to check and see when the bridal shows are in KC.
I'm so out of the loop without my computer. (P.S. I'm writing this at work lol while I'm supposed to be working lol) |

DIY Wedding
Will you be my's....
So I made two will you be my's today for the BM and MOH. They came out so stinkin cute!
Well since it's thursday we went over to the FH parents for dinner and Big Bang Theory. First of all there was no BBT :( but was still super excited to come home and finish the WYBMs. When I came home I went to check out how the WYBMs fit on the cards I bought and to my dismay, while we were gone my cat had knocked over a glass of water all over all the paper I had just bought and my two finished ones. I am so mad! |

I haven't figured it out yet but somehow I want to incorporate baseball cards. The FH is a SUPER big fan of baseball and he actually manages a card shop. I want him to feel like he has some connection with the wedding too.

Just heard the song we're going to dance to....
I was on my way home from work tonight and the radio station I was listening was doing a new song by an artist 'premier' thingy. I heard the song Glen and I going to dance to for our first dance.
