so first off i would like to say that I WORE FLATS AND I WAS BEAUTIFUL, SEXY AND COMFORTABLE!!!! (ive missed alot obviously)

well........the wedding was great!! everything was perfect!!! i dont have a lot of time to write but i will be back on later tonight to add some pictures and blog some more!!

my daddy suprised me and sang butterfly kisses during our unity candle. i had no idea he was going to. i cried the whole time haha!!

my hubby cried while i was walking down the aisle, which made me cry too!!! it was so sweet!!!

pretty much a week til i get married!!! yeah!!!! i cant wait for it to get here!!!!!!!! i hope this next week goes by fast! i'll be a married woman!! woo hoo!!!

so the chapel we are supposed to be getting married at in 12 days decided to call me friday and tell me that we cant get married in there due to a leak thats been going on for years and now the roof is about to FALL IN!!!!! i was like, and you tell me this 2 weeks before the wedding??? they didnt give us a choice to take a chance, they told us we had to find some where else to get married. they refunded us all of our money. i was so upset. BUT... the church next door owns the chapel, so theyre going to let us use their church for free to get married in. we went and looked at it and its a lot bigger and it is really pretty, so i guess it will do. we were just really excited about getting married at the chapel because it was the first church built in our city, so its the oldest here, and it is so pretty on the inside!! but i guess all that matters is that i am still going to be able to get married to the love of my life. i told him if we had to go to the courthouse that day to get married, that we would haha!! im glad the church is right next door so everyone that we sent invitations to will see the sign that we're having made that says the wedding is moved to next door. other than that, everything is coming along great. im going to pick up the favors and programs tomorrow, then i'll post a picture of them!! 12 MORE DAYS!!!!

I didnt even know until today that a couple of my bridesmaids are throwing me a lingerie shower. And i will be blushing through the whole thing. I get embarassed with this kind of stuff! but hopefully i will live through it!! haha!! cade thinks its a great idea of course!! i think itll be fun!! no telling what some of my friends will buy just to see my cheeks turn red!! i think its going to be next weekend, then we're going out to eat and have some drinks for the bachelorette party!!

So, our rehersal dinner is downtown at a restaurant called The Waldron. We had to book the downstairs because there was another rehersal dinner that night and they had already booked the upstairs, which is what i wanted :(..........because we were just going to have to close off part of the downstairs instead of having the upstairs to our selves.

Well, the restaurant called us yesterday and said that:
THE OTHER COUPLE HAD CALLED OFF THEIR WEDDING SO WE COULD HAVE THE UPSTAIRS!!!!!! ****YEAH FOR US, (sad for the other couple that called off their wedding) BUT STILL I WAS SO EXCITED!!! NOW WE'RE UPSTAIRS WHERE NO OTHER PEOPLE WILL BE AROUND AND THE BAR WILL BE RIGHT BESIDE OUR ROOM SO THE MEN CAN GO OUT AND TALK OR GET A BEER OR WHATEVER.****

So now we can decorate the room the way we want too and dont have to worry about other people being around us and all the noise that came with having to be downstairs!!

So we took our wedding bands to get sized last monday....and i also finally left my engagement ring to get sized! i know i know, i should have taken it a long time ago but i just didnt want to leave it there for a week. well they called yesterday and said it was ready, so when the fiance got off work we went to pick it up. i go in, try it on and its still too big......i was like did yall size this?? they were like, "oh were we supposed to size your engagement ring too? we thought we were just supposed to clean it!" i about FREAKED out!!! Well yeah you were supposed to size it, i see where you wrote it down on that piece of paper right in front of your face!!!!!!

so......im still without my beloved engagement ring. for now, im wearing a fake one!! haha!! hopefully itll be done by friday. our wedding bands are done, but i'll just pick them up when my engagement ring gets done too!! i just miss it so bad!! :(

OH! and i got the bridesmaids their pearls. theyre wrapped up so cute!! i'll have to take a picture of them and put it up!!! the jewelry store wrapped them in ivory paper with brown swirlies on it and a light pink bow......to match the colors of the wedding. i thought that was a nice touch!! yeah!!!

So this week the bridesmaids dresses came in and all my girls went and got them fitted or went a head and took them home!! the guys have been fitted for their tuxes so they should be in really soon!!! We met at the church sunday with my 2 wedding directors and went over everything. Where flowers would be, where bridesmaids and groomsmen will stand, where candles will be and a whole lot more things. Then we went over to the reception site, which is right across the street, and went over where all the tables and food will be. I took the programs today to be printed. It'll take them about a week. Our favors should be done this week. what else??......um......we've been working on our house to keep us busy and to help time go by faster. we've got 2 more bedrooms to paint and we still have to finish the kitchen, so i cant wait for the house to be done.

OH!! what do yall think about us switching places with the minister....instead of our backs being toward everyone while we're saying our vows, the preacher will have his back towards them and we will be facing them. everyone loves the idea and says they would like that because they can see us and the photographer will be able to get some good pictures of us. My fiance doesnt like the idea, hes old fashioned, but i think i'll be able to talk him into it.

So im getting really really excited and cant wait for it to get here! my girls are planning my bachelorette party right now!!! yeah!!!!

so......i had my first bridal shower this past saturday 3/29/08. my mamas bosses wife threw it for me at her house. it was so pretty!! she really out did herself. we had yummy food and a cute cake!! i think i had about 40 people to show up. we got a bunch of stuff!!! i cant wait to un pack it all and get it into our new house!!! i have a lot more pictures but im makin funny faces in all of them haah! so i just put some of them up!

so....i ordered me some flats to wear. i have to have flats because im tall anyways. plus i can wear them again! i think they are really cute!! i ordered them off of target. they were $20.99 plus shipping so they came out to be $27.79!! thats cheap enough for me haha!!!

we went with my stepmama downtown to where we are getting married and took a few pictures! i think they are cute!!! i'll add more later!!! ive got to decide which one i want to put in the paper. i really love the first one!!! the 3rd one is the one that we put in our invitations for our family! i love the black and white pictures of the church!! i cant wait for the wedding!!! 50 more days!!! its so close!! i cant believe it!!!

Heres the dress for my flower girl!!! I love it, i think its cute!!! She will be so pretty in it!!!!

Last night i had a dream about the wedding and it was so real!!! it scared me!! ha! i woke up and my heart was racing!!!
I remember being in our house that we're fixing up! well, everything was done and i remember going to bed. and the next thing i remember is my mom waking me up and telling me that i was running late for the wedding and that i had to hurry up and get my dress on and GO!!!! so i get up, put my dress on and head to the church!!! my hairs not done and i have no makeup on!!! it was awful!!! all i remember is opening the door and everyone looking at me!!! AHH!!! then i woke up!!! haha!!!
whew!!! i dont know about yall, but i cant wait until the wedding and i REALLY REALLY cant wait until the honey moon so i can just relax and lay on the beach with my baby!!!!!! i love planning, but its a lot of work and alot of stress!!!!

Is everyone sending out invitations for the rehersal dinner? Or just calling and letting everyone know the times?? Just wondering! I didnt know if it was a "must" or just a "do it if you want"

For the wedding I need some cute flats to wear. Im tall, 5'11, and my fiance is 6'3. So im looking for some flats but cant seem to find any that i like!!! They need to be ivory! I need to find some before i go to my next fitting which is in 2 weeks!! i really dont want flip flops! hopefully i can find some!!!

So i want my makeup to be pretty but i also want it to look natural!! Heres a few pictures i have found! i will add more when i find some!! does anyone know any good websites with cute makeup ideas??!!

ok....im still really confused on what color to do the tuxes! i really love brown tuxes.....but....will this be too much brown since my bridesmaids dresses are also brown?? i went to a wedding over the weekend and the bridesmaids and groomsmen both wore brown and it looked so good! or atleast me and my fiance thought it did! he really wants brown tuxes? so what do you ladies think? if we do brown the vests will be light pink with a pink polka dotted tie like the one in the picture! i kind of dont like the idea of black tuxes with my bridesmaids brown dresses. ??????

So this is my sapphire and diamond ring that my mother gave to me for Christmas! I love it!! But im wondering if this should be my something blue? I was going to wear my grandmothers diamond ring as my something old, but i cant if i wear this as my something blue! Ha! So what do you ladies think?? Grandmas antique diamond ring as something old or sapphire and diamond ring from mama as my something blue?? i also thought about having whichever ring i dont wear tied onto my bouquet. is that a good idea? or would you be afraid it would get lost?
maybe something like the last picture for my bouquet?

ok....so ever since we've been engaged we've known that we're going to the beach for our honeymoon!! we love it!! at first we were going to orange beach because we had been there for a weekend and loved it. but tonight we went over to cades moms house and her and her husband go to destin, florida all the time and they got a coupon in the mail today for 15% off a stay in whichever condo we choose!! so.......we think HEY MONEY SAVED!!! haha! so now we're going to destin, florida! i think we will have alot of fun!!! we found which condo we want and we're booking it tomorrow when we get the coupon from his mom!! i love this condo! as soon as i saw it i knew i wanted to stay in it!!!! LOVE IT!!!!!

ive still got to get a basket for my flower girl, a guest book, garter,ring bearer pillow, glasses for me and cade to drink out of at the reception.....and thats about it maybe! haha! oh and a unity candle! any ideas on some web sites with some cute ones?!

ok...so im going to take on the task of DIY programs!! But i need some help and advice on the best way to make them! if anyone has any advice let me know! i think i can pull it off but i just want to make sure they look good! i know i want them to be "skinny" and for them to open! any help would be appreciated!!!

This is a magnet that me and my fiance bought at a store that is downtown. The little old man who owns it is so sweet!! The magnet is a little ceramic tile with a picture of the chapel we are getting married at on it! Its so cute! Ive had pictures printed on tiles for Christmas and Birthday gifts and i think it is a really good gift! You take him a picture and pick out a tile and he gets it done!!! Im thinking about getting some of these made for my girls that help out at the wedding. Like the sign in girls, cake cutters and whoever else helps with the wedding!

Heres my necklace and earrings that im going to wear during the wedding! i havent tried it on with my dress yet, but i will at my next fitting! i hope it looks ok! they have matching sets for bridesmaids that i thought about getting for my girls. the earrings are a little smaller than these and the necklace isnt pearls, its a silver chain with the little "diamondy" ball and a pearl bracelet! i thought about getting them those or just getting them a strand of pearls! we'll see!!

well my cake topper finally came in!!! it took forever!! we contacted the lady 3 or 4 times and finally she sent it!! woo!! i love it!!! its so sparkly and pretty!!! i think it will look great with my flowers around it on top of the cake!!! Now im thinking about finding a football to sit on top of cades cake! just got to find one small enough!

Ok! So the napkins came in! I had to order them off of 2 different websites so they arent the same lettering...but im ok with it! The brown ones with the pink writing are going to be at my table because they'll match my cake really good. And the Ivory ones with the brown writing will be at Cades table. Theyll match his cake! I was a little bummed at first about the writing being different! But theres no reason to sweat the small stuff!!!

The invitations are in!!! Yeah!! Now we're just waiting on our engagement pictures to come in that we took last week to put inside of the invitations! Then we'll send them off!! Im so excited that everything is coming together!!

well, i had to get up and go to work from 8-5 so i didnt get to see cade all day because he had to go to work at 12 and work until 9!! so i was thinking he would send me flowers to my work, but i never got any!! so when i left work i called him and told him i was headed to his apartment and that i would talk to him later! i get to the apartment and go into the bathroom! theres 3 pink roses in a vase (3 is our number) a letter taped to the mirror, and a diamond necklace!! well, it was wrapped up so i shook and and i figured it was my wedding band, but when i opened it i was very surprised!! he did so good! i love him so much! hes so sweet! i'll put some pictures up! oh and my mama sent me a pink rose too!! i had a good day and i hope everyone else did too!!

so i would love to be updating everyone on all the plans, but im pretty much done planning everything! we're going to look at the church again this week and meeting with my director/flower lady again to just go over everything. but i pretty much have nothing else to do! well, i have to get some programs ordered but thats about it! im kind of bored haha!! we're sending out the invitations either this week or next week! um, we've ordered both cakes....i have them posted down at the bottom of my page. ive gotten the bags in that im putting the birdseed in. we have the napkins in, and i love them. the only thing im worried about is not being able to find a house before we get married! we've been looking forever and cant seem to find one!! im hoping we'll find one soon so i can start painting and decorating! OH! and my mamas bosses wife told me a couple of days ago that shes giving me a wedding shower march, 22 at her house! shes going to cook all the food and make the punch!! im really excited about it!! shes so nice and i love her house! its huge! she told me to invite everyone i could think of because she wants me to get as many presents as i can haha!! shes so funny!!

i love them!!! the invitations are great!! they open, so we're putting a picutre of us in them and a little quote! the napkins are great!! i ordered 100 brown napkins with a pink H and our names and the date of the wedding. and 100 ivory napkins with a brown H and our names and the date of the wedding! they are so pretty! im very pleased with them! now im just waiting on the favors to come in and our cake topper!! they should be in today!!

i cant believe i have 99 days until i marry my best friend!!! time has flown by!! i remember getting engaged just like it was yesterday, but its been 5 months!!! wow!! everything has come together. im supposed to get my invitations in the mail tomorrow and i'll have to mail them out! i have to order my favors! and thats pretty much it! everything is pretty much done! i also have to make the programs but that wont be until closer to time! im ready to get married and start our life together! i cant wait to have kids!! ive always loved kids and cant wait to have some of our own! in 99 days i will be mrs. cade hatcher!! i wish it would come sooner! hope all of you ladies are having luck with all of your planning!! i'll keep everyone updated on everything else that has to be done!!

At the reception, which is outside, we will be using 8 tall bistro tables instead of regular tables!! There will be an ivory table cloth going down to the ground, then a brown one shorter, then a really short pink one!! i think it will be really pretty and different! there will be no chairs at the tables but there will be benches and chairs sitting around for the older people who want to sit!!

but my best friend who is my matron of honor gave birth to her twin baby girls tonight 1/18/08!! McKinley Kate and Addyson Claire!!! I was so happy to be there and be able to see them!!!! They are so cute, beautiful and healthy!!! McKinley was born at 7:37 pm and weighed 5 pounds and 8 ounces and was 19 inches long and Addyson was born at 7:39 pm and weighed 5 pounds and 7 1/2 ounces and was 18 inches long!!! Im so excited!! i pretty much feel like and aunt!!! hah!!! just wanted to share because i am soooo happy!!! everyone say a little prayer for stephanie that she'll recover quick from her csection and say a lil prayer for the girls that they will stay healthy!!!

i ordered 200 of these daisy seed packets. and im going to make my own sticker labels to put on them right under the picture of the daisy....on the website it said thats why they put that rectangal box there!! they were the cheapest ones i could find!!!

so i met with my flower lady/director last night! we met at 7 and didnt leave until about 10:30!! we talked about everything!!! it was so fun and so good to get everything out in the open!! we arent going to use peonies because they are about $7 a piece and thats wholesale price! and that is really expensive!! ha!! we're going to use the daisies and roses and whatever else they put in!! she is really good at these kind of things! ive known her all my life!! shes pretty much a part of the family!! and we're going to have the reception in the courtyard with tall bistro tables set up every where instead of regular tables!! i think it will be really neat!! ive still got to order invitations, napkins and programs! but thats not a problem!! so we are gettin there!!! im getting really excited!! because its 108 days away...which will go by really really fast!!!!
we also thought about getting a caterer, but we're just gonna do the food ourselves!! saves a whole lot of money!!! plus my fiance owns a grocery store and his step dad owns a food wholesale company so i can get as much food as we need at a really good price!! i just have to make up a menu and start getting it and putting it in the freezer until we get ready for it!! hope everyone is getting their planning done and having fun!!!! i'll keep ya updated!!!

so im still going to use gerbera daisies but im also going to use peonies!! i looked at them on www.theknot.com and i love them! talked to my parents about them and they loved the idea!! peonies smell really really good and i think theyll go with my dress and the "theme" of the wedding!! Im going to use pink and ivory peonies! the first picture is what my bouquets going to look like (hopefully). and i may let my bridesmaids carry light pink and ivory gerbera daisies!! not sure yet! we have an appointment to meet with my flower lady monday night!! so i'll keep everyone updated!!!

so tonight we went to walmart and registered!! it was a lot of fun!! the only 2 places in my town to register is belk and walmart and we've already registered at belk for our dishes and things! so we went to walmart and registered for a coffee maker, laundry baskets, glasses, microwave and lots and lots of pyrex....etc!! i'll put some different pics up of what we registered for!! it was a lot of fun! we may go to lowes and pick out some things for Cade to register for!!

we ordered these ivory organza bags last night, they already have the drawstrings on them!we got 200 of them!! i thought it would be a lot less stressful and less work than if i wrapped the rice/birdseed myself then tied ribbon around it. that wouldve taken all night!! they were really cheap too!!

so we ordered our cake topper last night off the internet!! its an H! its very pretty and i cant wait to see it on top of the cake!!!
