We originally decided on this cake for Clint, but he's changed his mind a couple of times and we still ended up back with this one! It will have the chocolate covered strawberries at the bottom and chocolate on chocolate. We are going to buy some turf to set underneath it for decoration and I also ordered golf tees to set around the cake and golf balls (in Spring colors of course!). Can't wait to see how it turns out!

We ordered the table toppers for the reception last week. We are going to do both pink and orange and rotate the colors on every other table. We also ordered the hot pink table clothes for the bistro tables with the bright orange sashes. We will also rotate the colors of the centerpieces depending on what table cloth it's sitting on (i.e. pink tablecloth = mostly orange decoration, etc. etc.). We are also going to incorporate yellow and green into all of our decor (Spring colors!!). Eeek! It's getting close...and I'm getting nervous!

Our venue is located on the top floor of the tallest building in our city. It is enclosed by all glass windows and as you can imagine - it's absolutely gorgeous. It is about two blocks from the beach so we will have an ocean view on one side of the room and a city view on the other. We will have 5 bistro tables on the outer walls of the room in addition to the 15 regular sized tables. This way people can sit and have a window view if they'd like. These centerpieces will be on the bistro tables and they are a smaller version of our centerpieces that will be on the regular tables. Let me know what you all think!

I'm having two crystal trees at the reception similar to the one in the picture. We found the trees on sale at Pier 1 several months ago and bought the crystals at Tuesday Morning. I can't wait to put it all together! I'll post pictures of the final result!
