I need help finding centerpieces for my wedding. I am having a problem. This is the only aspect of my wedding that has a massive question mark. I have been back and forth trying to figure out something I genuinely like and want. Our venue does not allow glitter or fire in any aspect, and we cannot set up anything there, as well. Battery operated candles do not provide the same lighting as a regular flame. Our colors are green, gray and white. I have included a picture to help provide a visual for everyone. I need something (very) nice on the pockets and elegant. I do not mind being a DIY Bride, but I am not the best art person when it comes to things like this. We are living in New Jersey, but getting married in Wilmington, DE so I do not want anyone to be stuck with 28 centerpieces (maybe more). I have thought of everything from candy centerpieces to goldfish and fruit. PLEASE help me out! I am so clueless.
second - i like the idea of fruit, oranges are going to be part of my centrepiece, and I like the idea of limes or green apples for you. just a pretty tall vase with fruit in them would be nice. you could then give away the centrepieces so no one is stuck with them or you could rent your vases. we are renting them from our florist/decorator.
There are many options out there, there are some great ideas that involve 4 picture frams glued together to make a box like thing (you'd put your engagement photos or something that reflects you and FH) and then put flowers in it (there is a picture on my blog somewhere with what I am talking about)....
Your venue doesn't let you have open flame - you chould clarify with them that you can STILL have real candles just make sure that they are in a deep enough holder that the flame won't burn anything unless knocked over?!?!
Good luck.
Green roses
White daises
White carnations (tightly bunched together)
Babies breath
White Lilies
White/green hydrangea
White dendrobium orchids
Green apples with white flowers on top in a vase would look gorgeous!
For the wedding I am willing to work with all types of green that blend. Lime and forest green will be a bit too much though. Green will work. I am starting to feel like I have gained focus on the topic of centerpieces. Apples! ? Limes look great but I do not want me or anyone to have to cut lines. It is also something different which is perfect for the wedding. I want people to say and think, Who would have thought of that? I am going to start looking for vases and some possible steel tins for the gray for centerpieces. Thanks!
