YOU: The hottie with the body
SOME DIET ADVICE... YOU CAN BE A BUFF BRIDE!!
there have been lots of posts about diet and losing weight lately. questions about how to lose a few pounds before the big day. I would like to help a bit.
I am not a personal trainer i do not have formal studies in this but I do live by what I am telling you and i know what i am talking about. First thing is first. YOU NEED TO EAT. please do not start skipping meals and starving yourself. please do not eat bird food or be starving at the end of our meal. your body needs fuel. if you are not giving it fuel it has nothing to burn. Your body will be starving and it will hold on to everything you put into it for dear life, actually causing you to put on fat. you will lose weight at first because you are not feeding yourself, but that will stop. your metabolism will crash and once that happens it takes months if not years to fix. it is very frustrating and very avoidable. YOU NEED TO WORK OUT you are putting calories into your body and now you need to put them to work. cardio is very important to the ladies wanting to lose fat. so is the dreaded weight lifting. Put those muscles to work!! you will not get big! i promise!! we are not genetically made to get big. You will get tighter and leaner. Lift as heavy as you can! get that metabolism pumping!! SET A GOAL. Whether you want to lose fat or put on some muscle because you look like a stick set that goal. Alot of us are 'skinny fat' we look little people say 'you are so skinny you need to eat!' but in reality when we take off our clothes, we jiggle. we are not big but what we have is all fat 'skinny fat' CUT OUT THE JUNK. we all love sweets and chips and burgers and all things bad for us, but get that out for 6 days out of the week. at least until your wedding. COKES. gawd. just cut out cokes and see what happens. i don't care if it is diet or not. I eat 100% clean 6 days a week and have one cheat day. I take mine usually saturday where I can go eat with the boy and have my beloved glass or two of wine! you don't have to get rid of the things you love! not completely. you just need to be smart about it. this cheat day is also called a "refeed" you are putting in a lot more cals than your body is used to during the week and shocking your metabolism. you might gain some water weight the next day but it is only water and will go away the next day or two. DRINK WATER. your pee should be clear. drink until it is. simple as that. it is a lifestyle change. it is a struggle at first to not touch that candy jar at work or hit the vending machine or go through the drive through. but it gets easier. and once you start seeing your results, you are not going to want to mess up your hard work. I could go on forever about this. But i really don't know if you want to hear it and don't want to sound like a know it all. because i am not. lol.. but ask me any questions you want and i will help in any way I can. I won't hurt my feelings if you don't ask. lol... i just wanted to give you some basics at first. |

Ask a Question
Vista Print
So now that I am without employment, I am going to have to be real creative with the money spending, like a lot of us out there. But that doesn't change my taste and need for things to meet my standards! I can't help it! I am a perfectionist. *sigh*
Anywho.. I have heard the mumblings of VistaPrint on here a lot and am thinking I will use them for the save-the-dates. I am just wonder what the quality of their product is. I was going to order the notecards. Do they turn out nice? Have you girls been happy with the way they look once printed and in your possession? because things can look great on a screen but then when printed out, sometimes it can look kinda cheap. I swear one of these days i will post something that is actually a reflection of my wedding but I haven't even picked a color to go with my blue yet. I am running a little behind on ALOT of things!! |

Ask a Question
Has anyone actually ever tasted fondant?
We all know it makes for some amazingly beautiful cakes, but i hear it is downright nasty.
like to the point where you peel it off your slice before you eat the cake. I myself have never tried it. Has anyone? I don't want a gross cake! that would be horrible having people talk about how disgusting the cake was! lol.. |

Ask a Question
Anyone feel like their wedding isn't original anymore?
It seems like everyone does the same thing now.. damask, tiffany box theme, candy table, cupcake cakes... the list is endless and in all color themes.
not to say that they aren't' all cute! they are! very cute. And honestly maybe it is just that it is because those are the trends now and it is always like this, just with different stuff. I don't know... i haven't ever paid attention to it before now. i was just wondering how you girls feel when you see another bride doing a wedding that looks like the one you are planning. Do you mind? Does it bother you or are you perfectly ok with it? and i am not knocking anyone's wedding or planning or decorating..and i know it will be special for you and your wedding.... i am just wondering how you feel about it. just curious really. |

FIRED!
But the show will go on.
Got fired from my job Friday.
I won't air the dirty details, cause I am a Laaaaady, but it was dirtydirty. So I had my moment of panic, my oh-my-gosh-there-goes-my-wedding freak out. The talked to the boy and we decided that we are doing this NO MATTER WHAT. We don't care what it takes, our dream wedding will happen. We will be in Aruba with our family and friends on August 5, 2009. Some way, some how, we will be there. Never give up, never quit... make your dreams happen. Tootles! |

Meet the Groom
because he is my life
He has taught me how to love with my whole heart, how to laugh with my whole sole, and how to feel with my whole body.
He is my heart and my happiness. He is gone. Serving in Iraq for the third time and I have never missed a part of myself like this. Planning a wedding is bittersweet when the other half of the main attraction is not here. But he will return and I will be whole again. Until then, he lives inside my heart. That is how we are together when we are 7000 miles apart. |

I hate the word Fiance. ? a little deeper I am an office manager by day and a Figure Competitor the rest of the time. I when I am not at home or at work, you can find me in the gym. It is my second passion, first being life itself. ? and finally I have no idea how to keep a wedding blog. I keep a figure blog but this is a whole other world. If my blog is unlike all the rest, don' t laugh at me. Just laugh with me and keep reading. Tootles! |
