I am so glad my mom got on me about little things early on! I have been running into small stuff that I hadn't thought about and would never have remebered these last couple of days! My huge piece of advice for everyone who does not have a wedding planner: Start as early as you can with everything and just make up your mind!

I know it's only 2 days away and I would be stupid to change everything but I have stuck to my colors and style of wedding since December. I am so thankful. I have a lot to do but not as much as some so close to the date. With family arriving and house chores to keep up with I feel like I have managed my time well and have had stress to a bare minimun (not completely stress free unfortunately).

Although, my period started today!!!!! I got the pill to time my period perfect... 7 days out on the day of the wedding with 24 days till the next cycle... ha ha not for Kellie. My aunt flow decided to skip itself completely and start today! I want to shoot myself but I am loading up on the bc just for 2 days so it is gone on the wedding night! That's the sacred night I have to control :)

This may be my last post for a few days so wish me luck!!!

If you are registered here I would pull your list and spread the word. All gift cards and gifts can not be redeemed or exchanged! I feel so bad for anyone who has their registry there. Hopefully they will get something.... that would be nice, but spread the word.

Set up a document on Word and put 5 of the same thing in a column on a table, using text boxes to get the right sizes, for labels.
I got this textured Vellum on sale at Michaels, 10 sheets in a pack for $1.99. It is water resistant and my mom's office has a laser printer so the ink won't smear if it gets wet. I figured living in Vegas we will need to have tons of ice and that tends to melt outside, I think they look cute.

Peeling the old labels off is a whole other story!

I am counting down the days and have only a few more things to do:

Pick up photo make up.
-Can't look tired on the big day, neither should anyone else!
Wash car for getaway.
-Wouldn't want our vehichle to be dust covered (deserts suck).
Double check RSVP list.
-Make sure we have plenty of food to go around twice :)
Make sure all wedding music has been pre selected.
- We don't need any requests for sir mix-a-lot...
Early sign in for cruise.
-Can only sign in 3 days prior
Pack for honeymoon.
- Can't forget sunblock!!

The list may never end if I keep thinking of things! The last month has been pretty slow for me and all of a sudden this last week has been jam packed! Glad I did just about everything else months ago!! Happy planning to everyone!

So today my mother-in-law and I sat down and made 8 sheets of fudge. That's about 15lbs of ingredients! In one of my earlier posts I said how we were filling the boxes with homemade fudge with white chocolate on top, dyed green. Well it is all made as of today. Fudge is known for its everlasting taste so 2 weeks of sitting and setteling it shoud taste great on the wedding day! I filled up 99 boxes of square cut pieces and ribbons are tied, only 241 to go!! It was a lot of fun making.

13 days........ wow! so close!

After hearing a ton of bad stories and being as OCD as I am, I have decided to do a potluck lunch at my mothers house the day after the wedding. Our ship doesn't leave till monday and we have a whole day to do what? We can only make out for so long..... That's when the potluck idea came around.
It will be a gift opening/potluck for the close immediate family on Sunday. After church we will all meet up and have a good ol time. I love my family and my in-laws are great, couldn't have asked for better ones. I think it will be fun and I will get to spend some alone time with my parents after I've gotten married and see my grandmother before she heads back home! Everyone is excited!

Oh and I can keep a nice list of the gifts we will have received.

I got these mugs at my bridal shower yesterday and I adore them! They are one of my favorites! I had so much fun and am thankful for everyone who came.

I feel more and more like a bride everyday. It seems to have been dragging and got mildly stressful for a bit, but now I am ready. I am confident! A friend of mine is getting married in a couple of hours and I can't wait to just go and watch. I'm next in the group!

My whole bridal shower is being done in pink, maroon and chocolate brown. This is the cake my lady is doing for me! I am so excited tomorrow I get to pick it up at 1 and 2pm the bridal showering begins! It's getting so close I can just feel it!

The closer the wedding gets, the more excited I am. Everything is falling into it's place and we have the best family and friends to be supporting us through all our (ok my) decisions.
I feel so lucky to be marrying my best friend. Matt truely knows me better than anyone on this planet. I love him more everyday and I get this overwhelming feeling when he asks me to marry me randomly in the mall, at Wal Mart, in Hollywood Video or even at home. I'm not sure if he's just double checking but he can't wait and I figured he only got to ask once so why not ask the same girl 100 times! It is kind of fun!
I hope all of you are so lucky to have your boyfriend become your best friend and now our husbands. I know I am!

I live in Vegas... I know hotel managers and have a few friends who work for the night clubs so a good friend is setting us up in a suite at Mandalay Bay's THEHotel. The room is on the 60th floor and has an amazing view of the city (and a giant bathtub).
We really weren't sure where we were going to stay on the wedding night and forking over $500 for just one night was not going to cut it. So we asked for a favor and we received with much thanks!

I bought a pillow for like $5.00 on clearance from Party City, sewed on the ribbon around the pillow and then sewed on a piece of ribbon in the middle. With my ribbon tieing expertise I made a bow and took some skinny ribbon and tied it around the thred under the bow over the band of the pillow. The pillow shouldn't fall off of his hand and he can't mess up the ribbon because I used hot glue to keep everything in it's place!

This is Holly, she is our flower girl. I love this little angel she is so sweet. She refers to it as a foofy dress.

My bridesmaids are all coming to my house on the 9th and spending the night! We are going to paint toenails, tell girly stories, watch sex and the city then sleep and have an amazing breakfast. I am so excited! I haven't had a slumber party since I was like 15. I love all of my bridesmaids like sisters (my MOH is my sis so her the most).
No Boys Allowed! I am kicking the FH off to his friends house or his parents. It will be my last sleep over as a single lady and who else to do it with then the best of my best friends!

Here's my crinoline under my dress. It's stuck up due to static and me bouncing around too much. I love it!

My future mother in law is having our rehearsal dinner catered by Memphis BBQ. They have the best pulled pork in Las Vegas! Yes I know Lucielle's is good too but memphis is closer :) She didn't want any one to do any extra work so she threw a few places out and that's what we came up with.

I am having my dad's 1 sibling come with her family (3 others) and my grandma. Matt's immediate family will be there plus a few distant relatives. is that too many people? I think not I want family there and of course the bridal party!

We are just going to practice running through a couple times and set up the rental equipment then feast!

I for some reason don't feel stressed to practice this too much. I know what I'm going to say and where to stand and I'm not too shy to kiss Matt! YAY!! Only 35 days!

Went to the T-Shirt Diner today and had this made for $28. Yeah it's way more than I should have spent but the shirt is by American apparal (I love that brand) and they let me pick the font and as many characters as I wanted. It's my new favorite shirt!

We registered in January sent invites almost a month ago and have received 8 packages already from bed bath and beyond from friends and family! I am so shocked! I seriously expected gifts for the bridal shower and maybe some at the wedding, but so soon? wow! I am very greatful for all of these things but where to put it is the questions :)

I am having my great-grandmother's wedding ring set with a peridot stone (the diamond that was in it is now in a necklace my mom wears). It will be round and won't upstage my wedding ring and engagement ring like a diamond would. The stone is 6.0mm wide (roughly 1.5 carats) and will be round but it's the color of this one here in the picture. I was going to have something else as my old but I have been asking for this ring since I was 9, I finally grew up enough for my mom to give it to me.

Our wedding has so many different variations of green that I am excited to have this sit on my hand! I can't wait :)

I have done it! I dyed the petticoat.

It was super easy although I did hesitate to drop the dye into the washing machine. I'm adding those pictures right now! If you have any questions just ask me I can tell you what I did and how. It was fun to watch it transform.

Went to old navy tonight with my BM, Amanda, and she found these shoes just to wear for whatever. She put them up to her dress when we got back to her place, then she put everything on and they look so cute (well they are ugly but cute all at the same time). I might buy all the girls these shows since the Old Navy by me has so many of them (on sale) I need the rest of their opinions...
Our wedding is so casual I would love for them to have something fun, cute comfortable that they can wear again!

My cousin did photography and she happened to mention parasols to add some texture into the photos. I'm thinking these to the left just because they are so inexpensive and they look nice.... a few of my bridesmaids think they look ok but don't want to carry them during the ceremony (I think a bouquet of flowers is plenty enough for them)...

It's just an idea I might put into place (and it seems like my grandma might enjoy it to help block sun)...

I ordered the parasols from www.hapaculture.com and they were only $6 each. I only need 6; 1 for me and 1 for all 5 bridesmaids..... I am excited to see the pictures!

Matt's ring finally came into Kay today. I am very excited because I picked it out all by myself and he absolutely loves it! Must be a sign ;)

Vases from Michaels. Every week the sunday paper has an add for them and everyweek they have a 40% off coupon so I buy one vase a week or 2 or 3 because my mom saves the coupons too. I got the flowers on sale for $1 each and the marbles are from the 99 cent store. I used a glue gun to put the flowers in the center of the vase and TA DA! They probably cost around $15...

Sorry, it was late and I only have one lamp in that room so the picture could have been better....

I got this picture off of another bride's page and I'm wondering who?What? When? Where? and Would it even look good in green......???

I am seriously considering it, not to be a biter but I love this idea and no one from her wedding will know and no one from mine will know I "borrowed" the idea.......

Comments Ladies, Comments!!

About 3 hours ago I went to Michaels, picked up this box
($10), the letters (.99 cents each), ribbon ($3), and some paint (.39 cents a tube) (the flower is mine). I painted the box white, cut a hole in the top of course, and painted the letters green. Then with my fancy glue gun I just put a small stream of glue around the top for the ribbon and attached the letters and flower in about 2 minutes! I am very proud to say I did it myself! I got the idea off of a few brides' pages and thought I could totally do it! I did it! YAY!!! One more thing off the check list!

I found this website randomly and this girl's makeup I feel would just work for me.

We are doing these white cubed boxes with green ribbon instead of blue, orange etc. They will have homemade fudge in them! My mother-in-law, to be, is helping me with all 200 of them!
The fudge is simple to make but takes elbow grease and we are putting a thin layer of white chocolate fudge on top with a bunch of green food coloring to match the theme!
There will also be those buttercreme mints on all the tables in their own individual wrapper that say "Thank you for sharing our special day"

The picture to the left says it all. I'm going simple with hydrangeas and orchids with gerbera daisies and some calla lilies (ok not to simple but simple enough for me). There will be no roses! I am the anti-christ of roses. I think they are too easy so I thought callas were a nice subsitute

Our Photographer is setting us up with a book of all of our 250 engagement photos! It is really neat. The book looks like a yearbook with photos on one side and lines to sign on the other and it has about 25-50 pages in it, depending of course on how big he makes it. It is so cute.

We are also going to have a digital photo frame on random play with pictures of Matt and me from babies to adults and from when we started dating almost 4 years ago!

Matt and I have lived together for about 2 years so there really aren't any surprises between the two of us. I went to bed the day after Thanksgiving and looked gross (in my opinion of course) and snuggled up next to him.
I had just taken my jewelry off and brushed my teeth, nothing too unusual. Matt went into the bathroom set himself up and came back into bed looking the same as always. We hit the lights and he reached over and grabbed my right hand, starting scratching my arm and them leaned across for a kiss. Sly as he is, my left hand suddenly felt a little heavy. I pulled my hand out of the covers and screamed "what is this?"
He laughed and said "I was just wondering what size ring you wore and I'm not sure if this is the right size but if you'd like to be my wife you can keep it"
I jumped up and switched the light on and said "WHAT?" I laughed so hard for about 2 minutes before realizing what had happened.
It was perfect for the 2 of us. We are not too mushy and I was just floored with the way he acted all day, calm, cool and collected.
I later found out he asked my dad at the dinner table while I was too busy stuffing my face. I can't wait till May 10!

I have always wanted a solitaire or something extremely simple!! I was not expecting this! I love it more than any other piece of jewelry I have ever gotten (obviously).

I wanted green, and this is what they all decided on. I made them each take all the dresses that came in green into a fitting room far away from each other and we are all so much alike everyone of them said, "This One." I can't wait to see the 5 of them standing together with it on. It will look great.

We registered at Target and Bed Bath and Beyond. We chose to do both simply because it is easier for both sides of the family. It was a ton of fun. We both had a good time playing with the scanner.

My early Valentine's Day gift was a surprise cruise for the honeymoon, we were stumped before this, and I am so excited. I have never been on one so I think it's a great time for the first cruise.

I happened to be searching through Yahoo.com and found this amazing little company up in Utah and they have these beautiful photo invites in color, black and white and they will even personalize a template for your wedding announcements, thank you cards and more!! I love them!

I'm so excited :)

I plan to have extensions put in so that I have enough hair to curl. This photo best decribes how I plan on putting it all together. I want more curls on top as well and maybe a soft bang in the front. Can't have my giant forehead showing.

The brunette has her hair done almost exactly how I want mine to look.

I am marrying into quite a large family. Somehow someone's boyfriend passed the word along at church and I have a cake lady! She only does specialty cakes and it's a hobby of hers so it was quite the steal for the deal we got! I searched high and low in Vegas and we finally got her. She is amazing!

He's a good friend of the family and I insisted he do all the photography for our wedding. I've known him for over 10 years and he is thrilled.

I have always wanted a sleek, simple, no train involved, straight lines dress. Well after about 2 hours and a 100 tears later, my best friends said to sit down, shut up and they were going to pick out their 5 favorite dresses and I had to try them on no matter what! Well thank goodness, 3 dresses in we found it. It's a cinderella dress. I love it and my mother was tearing up in the shop overwhelmed with joy. The dress was even on sale... can't beat that!
