Our Card Box
Forget renting... i'm creating!!
I didn't want the same old boring white card box for our wedding, so i've been surfing the net and scouring stores in search of something different and unique and ooooh my goodness have i found it!!!

They're charging $100 for it but i'm gonna make it myself and obviously change the colours to suite our wedding. but oooowwweee do i love it.

I love this! It is so beyond the usual plain old card cage or box. Hope you don't mind, but I'm totally intrigued and going to make something similar!

I think this is really cute...another Idea you might like is a wishing tree where guest can leave there best wishes for you and the groom...you could use pink cutout flowers or pink leaves to hang on the branches..and you could also hot-glue butterflies for a more whimsical feel...just an Idea.. ( :

If you're in a time crunch, they also have nice card boxes on E-bay going from $10-$30.  Just an idea!

I think you could do that so easily with shoeboxes and some wrapping paper. I have a box that I put all my wedding stuff in that is decorated almost exactly like the bottom box of in that picture. Use the shoeboxes from you and your bridesmaids shoes :)

One tip, use glue stick to attach the paper to the box, and then use tape to affix the ends of the paper to the inside of the box. My box is kind of warped on one side because you can see the swirls of white glue I used.

DIY - I bought a card box online - plain white treasure box style with opening on the top for $18.00.  I then went nuts with ribbon, feathers, pearls and flowers.

Looks great now.....I will take pic and post on my site.
