This is something I put together last night after reading the post about the twilight themed wedding. I don't think I'd go with a lot of the obvious ideas like a twilight inspired cake or character named tables but I'm loving the midnight blue and the blue goldstone. I'm also loving this other idea I found for the apothocary jars as we bought a few before we decided against the candy bar. AND I thought the bell jar kind of tied in the greenhouse scene from the film. We were going to use the moss basket, rocks and initials anyway as well as the crystal tiered cupcake stand, crystals and twinkle lights. I thought the candied apple would make a great favor and would tie in a little red and sort of the cover from the the first book. However, we decided against using ruffled tulips feeling it would be FAR too obvious (plus it would be too much red, white and blue). Our current theme is rustic elegance so we are having the reception at a restaurant that is a stone building with exposed stone walls and exposed ceiling beams. I think this would fit in quite well. Also, I talked with the FH about it and he really likes the midnight blue and still likes the moss and crystal ideas.
You have a great start here. I love the rustic look. Reminds me of Forks from the books and movie. I think the candied apple is fab! Such a cute play on the cover. You gotta have a ton of twinkle lights for sure. Makes me want to change my theme all over again. Too bad I didn't think of this earlier. I will just have to live through your blog. LOL!
