Hi! I saw these Martha Stewart Eyelet Confetti Pouches on sale at WalMart for $3.50 for a pack of 20. i Thought they were really cute and considered getting them for when we are sent off at our wedding.
But I was wonderinf if they would disinigrate or disappear in water when it rained. Because our guests would be throwing them outside when we leave and I do not want to be disrespectful to the church and leave a mess. So I thought that they may make them so that they disinigrate in the rain.
They are made of VELLUM
Does anyone know?
As for the bags - you'll have to ask people to hold onto them and toss them out later.
If you make paper cones out of re-used paper (old sheet music or book pages look awesome), then they're eco-friendly! http://www.oncewed.com/7160/diy/do-it-yourself/diy-paper-wedding-cones/?currentPage=1
You could just not use anything disposable (recyclable, recycled or otherwise) and put the seeds in vintage tea cups/ bowls! Completely reusable, cute, and could double as favors! Another idea that would also double as favors would be little terra cotta pots (you might have to put a sticker over the hole in the bottom) - they are cheap and cute!
What about that home made seed paper or something for the cones?
OH! Icecream cones!!!
or maybe cleaned out eggshells... gooseegs are bigger
seashells, seedpods, gourds, anything else naturally bowlshaped ... hmm... thats all I have for now...
