It all started by yesterday (Friday 5-22-09) when I came home, Chris asked me what did I want to do this weekend. I said well I know you wanted to go to a movie but I wanted to go downtown D.C. to walk around. He said oh “shoot” babe I told the guys we can play basketball tomorrow. I said well fine…. 3 hours later I was upset because I wanted to go walking and he wanted to be with his friends this weekend. (yes I know I was being spoiled) He said fine Keturah we will go downtown. So today I got up and went to get my nails done and I called him to let him know I was on my way home in a few. He said fine soon as you get here were leaving. ( I still didn’t think we were going downtown) So we got on the metro and started our day. We walked around the holocaust museum and started walking towards the Tidal Basin. After walking a little bit I started feeling weak because I didn’t eat anything before walking in the hot sun. So we stop to get something to eat and he asked me so baby how much you love me. My crazy butt said I must love you because I’m setting in this damn grass! Lol (yes were a little crazy) He said oh wow thanks I said now you know I love you. Then we got up and kept walking. Then we found this little area to sit he asked me so you think you can deal with me for the rest of your life. Joking I said I guess I have no choice! Lol he said yeah you do because you love me and you want to spend the rest of your life with me. I said what ever! Lol. And we kept walking. After walking a little more he said wait babe my leg is hurting let stop for a second. Then he asked me you don’t want to be with me for the rest of your life I said yes baby why are you so jumpy I was just joking. He said because what if I ask you now “will you marry me” my face just looks down and I was completely speechless! Of course is said yes then I asked him where did you get this ring! You said you don’t have any money! Lol For the rest of the evening I was in total complete shock!
