Im Back..!!!!!
Work is so tiring..!
Hey ladies sorry, I have been so for so long! I missed you guys. I hoped you missed me. LOL.. Ever since I went back to work I haven't had any time to get on the net. My hours were really crazy. I would work 7am- 3am or 10pm-7am. I was really tied and I pretty much put all of my wedding stuff on hold but thank God for my sister. I hired a planner! I love her. She basically did all the work that should have been done a long time ago. I am so happy I have the weekend off (until Tuesday). I can get back to doing my regular wedding stuff and checking my E-mails. Just a little update on what was done.

Meet me at the alter..
Here comes the bride!
It took some hard thinking and lots of looking up to find the perfect song for my entrance. I thought it would be easy just pick a song and SHABAMM! another crossed off my list. But I noticed that it was hard and I had to put a lot of thought to it. So many songs but it took that one song to make me break down and cry. I didn't want the normal "Here comes the bride" we are having ceremony music played on a CD that we are making just for the wedding. I want to keep it a secret because my fiance is the last person you want to tell a secret to. I am not telling anyone except you fine ladies on this website what my entrance song is. They will just find out the day of. My entrance song is..............

Giving myself- by Jenifer Hudson
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k6iaF433Ybc

Every time I hear this song I cry. This song explains everything. Before I met Terrence I felt like in order to be liked, I had to be someone else. I couldn't be myself. I never really had a serious relationship with any other guy. I just dated, what they call a " Serial Dater" because I just would date to date. Now he let's me be who I am because he loves me for who I am. He is my one true soul mate. I am truely happy to be with someone who will talk to me in the middle of night even when he's half asleep or listen to my stories about work, or confort me when I have fights with my mother. I am so thankful for him. I hope that everyone finds there special somebody because every one needs someone to grow old with.

Break a leg..!
I'm handicapped!
I am so ready to go back to work it's ridicules! I have been out of work for about a month due to an injury I caught while on duty. Now that I look at it is really funny. People always say being a cop is dangerous it sure is if your clumsy. My story about how I got myself into this whole thing is funny so I will tell you and you are allowed to laugh.

My partner and I was running after this guy and we came upon the side of a building and it had steps going down. My partner told me to look out put I was so focused on catching this fool, I didn't pay him attention. So I came upon the stairs but instead of running down I leaded down 7 steps but I fell and hit my knee on the 4th step and falling down the steps breaking my leg, scraping my arms and face. But that didnt stop me I tried to get back up but it was way too painful, so I tried to crawl.Blood was coming down my leg and my arms were burning and my nose was bleeding. My partner was about to get me but I told him to go on. I called for help on my walkie talkie. My partner caught the guy and caught him but my head was pounding so much I really needed to get out of there. When the first came. They though I got beat up because I looked so bad.

Thanks to my kind and loving fiance he has been nurse Terrence and my sister had been help too. Now I have Hannah Montana and High school musical stickers on my cast thank to my future niece Miranda. He also gets a kick out of it because he jokes around that he broke my leg. Also he says I can apply to get a handicap sticker. At least I went from a boot to a cast ,a wheelchair to crutches, next is a cane!I can't wait to go back to work on Monday even i have to do off duty stuff like office work, Oh how fun! I'm ready to fight some crime!

Ask a Question
It's a secret Shhh...
I have a little something up my sleeve. I need some ideas on how I can make sure my very AVAILABLE cousin Melanie to catch the bouquet and my very AVAILABLE partner Kevin ( I'm a detective and he's my work partner) to catch the garter! I have my reasons:
Melanie- She's single, she's about to be 31, she hasn't been in a serious relationship in almost 5 years, she's always complaining about how she needs a man and she's the only one who is single out of all of my cousins and friends our age!
Kevin- He's about to be 35 ,Single, is always dating the wrong women, and he is always hanging with married men and it's time for him to be in that group!
It worked for me. I caught the bouquet and my Fiance caught the garter and look at us about to get married! I need help on how to hook these soon to be love birds together without them suspecting ANYTHING! They are both in my wedding so I can have them walk down together. They are desperate and desperate times call for desperate measures! How should I set this up?

Flowergirl dress and Accessories..
Oh, look at her!
I am proud to say. I am on a budget! I am paying for my Bridal parties attire and I never thought it would be this easy. I have been looking for my little future niece Miranda's dress, shoes, jewelry, and basket for this past week so I can get this out of the way. I searched online because I noticed if you go to Bridal shops they are alot more expensive. This is a recession and plus she will only wear it once they way her mother spoils her so why waste my hard earned cash? For some $100-300 dress, when I can pay $50-70 on a dress and personalize it. I found it! Only $49.99 from http://stores.affordableflowergirldresses.com/store/search.aspx?key=red, now since I love to design stuff! I also found some Damask fabric that I can not only use as her sash but as the wrapping for our broom. and it was only $6.95 at http://www.housefabric.com/ProductDetail.asp?ProductID=28767. Yea, I will just cut that red bow off. Oh and I also found a Damask flower girl basket, ring barrier pillow, Damask bow ties (there 1 more left for anyone who wants to order(sorry Damask brides I took the last pillow, basket). Damn! I'm addicted to Etsy!

Wedding Dress
Say yes to the dress! Well the 25th!!
I have been on my ongoing search of " The dress" or maybe what my family calls " World war 3"I I found shoes and accessories but no dress, have been to almost every Bridal shop in Staten Island, Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx and Manhattan. Also Online. I didn't find anything I liked. Either it was too big, too little, too small, too short, too long, my boobs look to small, my butt looked to big, or it was just plain on UGLY! I've seen the good, the bad and the ugly. Trust me when I tell you this. I have been on the search since May. During this time period it seemed like everyone else found there dress except me. Aren't I the important one? Don't they say " Here comes the bride?" I seemed to have given up, until I was flipping through the channels on night and I turned to " Say yes to the dress" I was amazed at how many dresses they had and that they actually had someone who can help you personally and give them exactly what you are looking for. I fell in Love all over again. I had no idea that it was right here in NYC on 110th west 20th street. So right then and there I rushed to my laptop and typed in on my yahoo search ( I just hate google) " Say yes to the dress" and behold I found the website. I saw a couple of dresses I liked, clicked appointment and damn these people are busy. I booked my appointment, printed out the dresses I liked and nicely anticipated the day.

Today was my lovely appointment. I bought along my sister, mom, grandma, his mom and grandma and his sisters along. I had an 1pm appointment and boy was I amazed! So many dresses so little time. My dress finder as I call her was Kisha. I remember seeing her on TV and I never would have thought I would be matched with her. It's so personal and it's nothing like the other Bridal shops where your with another bride trying on dresses or various strangers looking. And they focus on you and you only. You tell them your budget and they will not go over unless you give them permission to .They give you an hour to look. I tried on 25 dresses all of them were nice but my 25th dress was AMAZING!! I broke down in tears, and so did my mom and grandma. His family was just so happy that I found the dress. It was perfect for my body type and it fit me well! I found my baby! Too bad they don't allow you to take pictures of yourself in the dress. That is my dress, I searched online to see if they had a picture to show you guys and they did! My quest is OVER! Now I have to find accessories! Let World war 4 begin!

Engaged!
He asked and I said YEAH!
It was New Years Eve and we spent that weekend in Jamaica. We went to the party they had at the hotel but a couple minutes before it was 2009. He took me out for a walk on the beach. We talked about High school years, and everything in between. As we walked up. We heard the countdown. He got on one knee in the middle of the sand and asked me to marry him! It was perfect timing because the ball had just dropped! That is my baby in the pic! my ring:)
