Sorry, but I stole this photo off of another girls post. I thought this was adorable. I want to find something like this or similar to wear on my honeymoon as we will be down south on a sandy beach.

Anyone have any idea where I can get cute little foot decorations like this? I haven't seen anything in any of the stores I've been looking in.

My fiance always pokes his head into the computer room behind me at times when I am on this site so I'm not going to post my dress. However I did take some photos of dresses while I was out shopping and thought I would post some of those instead. There are also a couple pictures of dresses I really liked when I started shopping for my dress. Unbelieveably the dress I bought ended up being quite different from the ones I was trying. Isn't that the way it usually happens, it's the dress you least expect to be "the one".

I'm having trouble finding gifts for my bridesmaids, groomsmen and parents. None of the groomsmen are drinkers. And jewellery for my bridesmaids are out as they already have the jewellery they are wearing for the wedding. And parents I just have no idea.
Please help!

Lots of people end up spending lots of money on a photographer. I thought I would share my idea with you all.

My photographer is a friend of my sister's. She is the photographer for our local newspaper and has done several Weddings before. I have seen her work and it is great. She is taking all our Wedding photos with her digital camera and putting them all on CD and only charging us $250. After the Wedding she will give us the CD and we will be taking them to get printed ourselves. Since there is no printing fee for her it will be much cheaper than if we hired a Wedding photographer that charges $1000 or more. That way we can pick through the photos and only print the ones that we really want to have in our album.

Other ideas for photographers: Contact local colleges for students who are taking photography classes. Most are wanting opportunities to show their creativity and will generally be cheaper than any Wedding photographer.

We are doing a fall theme idea with the main colour brown. Our decorations consist of vines of fall leaves which is similiar to my bouquet colours. These will be strung along the cake table, head table and guest book table. We are also having alder trees to add to the decor.

These are our table centerpieces except we are not using the gold beads inside the vase and we are not using the leaves around the base of the vase because I think it is too much. Inside the vase around the candle we are putting in water pearls which are clear little gel beads. Then in the center of the bow I have glued little metal leaves like the one my sister is holding in the picture.

For our place cards on the tables we are going to use the pine cones like in the photo except we are making the cards ourselves. I'll get photos of those later once I make them.

For our honeymoon we are visiting Holguin, Cuba and staying at the Paradisus Rio de Oro. From the photos and website it looks to be a really beautiful resort. We booked a suite and I can't wait.

At first we were enquiring about the Garden Villa however it is quite costly and we just cannot afford to spend $1000 per night for the entire week of our vacation. I did however send an email to the resort asking questions about the villa and they sent me back some photos which I've included for your viewing pleasure.

We are having our ceremony at St. Stephen's Church and our reception at Dhoon Lodge in Black Duck Siding.

Dhoon Lodge is a beautiful log cabin style hunting lodge in a country style setting cradled by the Long Range Mountains and is bounded on the east and south by Harry's River, a first class fishing river as you can see by the photos of the lodge.

The photos of the dining room area is where the main events of the evening will take place however the adjacent room with the fireplace is available to guests for just gathering and enjoying the evening. From this room it opens out onto a large patio style deck which overlooks Harry's River and the golf course.

This is kind of what our cake will be like minus the roses. Ours will be 3 layers of real cake with white ribbon wraped around the base of each layer. Chocolate chocolate chocolate...need I say more?

The Groomsmen will be wearing black tuxedos with a rounded collar, brown vests with black and brown striped ties. It looks very similar to this photo. I cannot seem to find them anywhere online with the exact matches we picked. I had considered the brown tuxs which I think are awesome, however with my bridesmaids wearing all brown dresses I was afraid it would be too much.

My bridesmaids are my two sisters. Their dresses are the ones in the pictures, only they are chocolate brown and not black. It's difficult to see the detail due to the one in the picture being black.

Their shoes are the ones in the photo also. They both purchased the same ones. They are brown and the stones in the shoes match the beads in the upper part of the dress.

We live in Stoney Creek, Ontario now but at the time of the proposal we were living in British Columbia and were travelling to Newfoundland for Christmas to visit my family. Along the way we stopped in Ottawa for two days and decided to stay at the Fairmont Chateau Laurier next to the Parliament building. After dinner we decided to take a walk around the Parliament buildings to check out the display of Christmas lights. We walked all around the property and it was beautiful. We were taking lots of photos when Sam decided he wanted to go down by the water (the canal). So we went down the steps and started walking along the water and as we got just under the bridge thats when Sam proposed. There was no one around so it was nice and private. I was so excited and of course said YES!!!

In answer to your question....we had the camera with us as we were out looking at the scenery and right after he proposed (and when I stopped crying) we set the timer on the camera and took the picture.

I started this journey by surfing the web and found this bouquet. I saw this and knew that the fall was gonna be it for our big day! And my fiance loves me enough to let me do whatever I want. He loves the fall too. hehe.

This is going to be my bouquet with maybe some small modifications. My bridesmaids will have the same just smaller.
