I actually miss planning my wedding
Yes I never thought I'd say it but I really do miss it. I miss all the excitement and the shinny things lol. It really takes a lot of time out of your life but it is fun. I know one thing I'd do different is make more decisions on my own and not care so much about what others wanted or thought. Secretly I hope one of my friends will get married soon so I can sneak some of the enjoyment from them. OMG thats so bad I know ha ha ha. Any one else miss it???

Life Update/Ceremony Sand sealer
Hello ladies!!! I can't believe its been four months already! I miss WBC. Almost makes me want to plan another wedding. (Almost) A few changes since the wedding, most recently I lost a friend of mine in a car accident. It was actually an ex boyfriend that I stayed friends with. We had been discussing that we should get together soon and catch up and the next thing you know he's gone :( Honestly I was crushed! I have always and will always love the guy, he was a good person, but you know the only thing that got me through the past couple weeks was MY HUSBAND. He was the only one who understood and did not judge me for being so torn up about an ex boyfriend passing, thats just another reason how I know I made the right decision! He truly is my best friend and he proves it to me time and time again!
On a completely different note, our sand ceremony was great but the only thing is there is a bit of room at the top of the glass holding the sand and we are worried that if it gets tipped or something the sand will get messed up inside. I was wondering if there is some sort of product that you can pour in the sand that will harden it or at least the top. You know kinda like the fake water you see in some flower arrangements? Let me know if anyone has any ideas!!! LOVE YA"LL |

Wedding Photography
Got my photos back..... um... yeah....
Well, we used my husband's sister's cousin (they are half siblings thats why its not his cousin) she is a professional horse photographer and has done other photography in the past so I thought there would be no problem. Well we got them back the other day and I'm miserable about them. I don't know if my expectations were too high or what, but I don't think they are very good. My husband thinks its because I've taken photography classes in the past and I know too much. lol I'll try to post some and let me know HONESTLY what you think. They are alright but I only got a few poses at the Botanical Gardens and there were soooo many more opportunities there!

After all is said and done....
I'm offically a Mrs.
I must say I am thrilled to be a Mrs. The last few days before the wedding were crazy and very very frustrating., but it all went well. Was it exactly what I had imagined? No, but it was beautiful and in the end I am married to the one who loves and understands me with all my flaws and insecurities.
I only have a few photos right now from family but I will put more up when I get them! I also wanted to say thank you to all the brides out there who truly understand what its like to go through all the up and downs of wedding planning. It is wonderful to have someone to confide (sp) in. |

Make up trial
Disaster
Had my makeup trial tonight and it was horrible. I hated it. I looked like a drag queen. I know they usually put a little more on so it photographs well, but this was just bad. Couldn't tell the girl though, felt really bad, however I guess I'll be doing my own makeup on the wedding day. I'll save $40 :(

DIY Wedding
Update on the wisdom tree
Well first off I'm switching it for sure to "wish" tree. My bridesmaids had people at my shower write bits of wisdom on cards for me so that would be a little repetitive. So now people will write wishes to us instead. I think it'll still be nice. Not finished with it yet but got a lot farther along. Yes I glued each flower on the branches.
I think this puts me under the "crazy" category :) |

I really want the over all feel of my wedding to be like a beautiful, dreamlike garden. Lots of pink of course, but accents of yellow (because thats my FH favorite color) There will be butterflies added as accents as well, not to be too overpowering.
