This is kirsty's Green Wedding!

The boy and I love to travel, so thought that giving away luggage tags would be a unique favor. I didn't want to do a generic luggage tag that you can find on all of the wedding favor sites. I searched etsy.com (LOVE THIS SITE) and found a girl that makes luggage tags and can do personalized ones. I sent her our wedding graphic and she had created them and shipped them in less than 2 weeks! They cost just over $2 each - score!

I am so relieved that I didn't have to do anything on my own. I've helped friends with their weddings and have done my fair share of burning cd's, designing covers, wrapping candy in bags, etc.

I haven't found someone to do our cake yet, but we want something simple and elegant.

My brother got married in Maui a couple of years ago and used Stewart Pinsky. The pictures turned out fabulous and we were hoping to find a photographer as good as him, but of course within the budget. As luck would have it, he has started splitting his time in Vancouver and Hawaii, so we've now secured him to do our wedding!

My bridesmaids are wearing black. And the flower girls are wearingwhite with a black sash. I found these dresses on Nordstrom.com for $98each. Was going to order them from there, however checked Ebay firstand someone was selling them brand new for $30 each. My luck was thereand the seller had all three sizes that I needed!! 3 dresses for under$120 total.

We created our own invitations. My vision was simple, non-traditional, slightly modern, but have an earthy feel that is reflective of both us and where we are getting married.

I downloaded the graphic from istockphoto.com - altered it a bit in Illustrator and used a simple font for the writing. As the wedding is classified as destination, we created a website to help our guests with all of the details. We used the same graphic for our website as well.
