Mission Accomplished!
Finally!!!
Took me forever to finish my inspiration board!! Kinda put if of for a while...glad its done!!! Think I'm gonna make another one when I get some free time. It took me a while to figure out how to make one. After trying a couple of sites that you can make one on...I figured out that it was MUCH easier to make it in powerpoint! Hope this helps any bride who is trying to create her own inspiration board! |

Junior Bridesmaids...
I have a junior BM who is 12 (my FH 'lil sis) and I dont know whether or not to aske her to be a part of the Bridal shower and Stag 'n' Doe planning. Her mom ( my furture step-mom-in-law) is VERY protective over her and doesn't let her go anywhere unless she is with her. I have tried to invite my FMIL to these events and she had no interest in them.
Question: Am I being rude if I have meetings about the wedding without my junior bridesmaid??? |

Wedding Favors...aaahhhh!!!
I know its kinda early to be thinking about the favors but I can't seem to make up my mind! I had it all planned out that I was going to make lemmon cookies(since my color is yellow) and put them in ivory boxes with yellow ribbon. The only things is I think it will be too much work! I have a friend of the family that owns his own resturant, he said that I could I could use his ovens,,,which would help but I still think that it will take too long...especially right before the big day.
Plan B would be to donate to the Canadian Liver Foundation in memory of my father...the only thing is that I contacted the foundation and they dont give any type of token to give to my guests...what would I give to represent the donation?!?! I dunno!!!!!! |

We got our engagement pics!
After searching for a while, I found a fantastic photographer; John Lyons. We shot our engagement pics in a little town just outside Windsor. These are just a sample of the pics, we haven't got all of them yet...

Wedding Dress
Its in!!!
I have chosen an ivory mermaid gown by Alfred Sung. It has a bubble hem which is kinda cool. I got a phone call today to let me know that they just got my dress in!!!!! Sooo pumped! Can't wait to try it on and get fitted. I have to go on Friday to try it on. The dress in the pics is the sample dress. Can't wait to take pics of my actual dress!!!

Bridesmaids
We found the dresses...finally!
I have chosen Jim Hjelm dresses for my seven bridesmaids. They are called pineapple, they are a really nice yellow...although they look a little darker in the photes, they don't look as goldish in person. The girls love them, there soooooo nice!!!

Wedding Decoration
We found a decorator!!!
After seeing many different decorators, we finally found one! We had so much fun picking out all of the different colors and accessories...although it was hard trying to get the color of yellow that I wanted. And we have other colors to incorperat, ivory,soft rose and a bronzy-gold...still not sure on the center pieces though...sigh...

Ceremony/Reception Location
No chapel for us...
We decided to get married in the actual venue that we chose for our reception. We both aren't that religious so that is what prompted us to have it there...also becuase it is absolutely beautiful!! We are going to have the ceremony in the front enterence where is has two huge marble staircases. There are also some pics of the actual hall (we took the pics after a baquet our venue had the night before, the stage in some of the pics wont be there when we get married.
