Monogrammed China
My wedding is long gone but I thought I'd share something that I stumbled upon while surfing the Internet...
Monogrammed China! *FANTASTIC* As far as I can tell, there are 3 companies that sell it Lenox Pickard and Pottery Barn (though not as fancy) http://www.thefind.com/kitchen/info-monogram-dinnerware#local=0 |

Wedding Decoration
Alternate ways to use your aisle runner
I made 2 aisle runners that I was going to use on the ground for the church and the reception. A week before the wedding, I changed my mind.
We hung one of the aisle runners up in the main entrance to the hall and another one up behind the head table. I received SO many compliments. Looking back, I think it was a much better decision. I put so much time into painting them that I'm glad they were displayed as a focal point. Just an idea for you ladies... |

Ask a Question
Photobooks
It's been a while Ladies - I'm all married up and things went wonderful! I'm getting the hard copy of my pictures back and would like to create a photobook. I've created many before through costco and kodak but I recently saw a photobook at another photographer's studio. It was leather-bound with the couple's names on the cover. The pages were also more like a cardboard than paper. I asked the photographer where I could make one and she wouldn't give me the name of the company :( (but offered to make it herself with my pictures from the other photographer $$$)
Can anyone help?????? |

Some things we've done...
My fiance made the card box - it is on a lazy susan so it can spin around..it looks FANTASTIC.
I also made little kleenex wrapped in velum paper to hand out with ceremony programs at the church...why? I have no idea..I don't have time for this right now... *sigh* Lastly, Sparklers and matchbooks! |

CANDY BUFFET
YUM
Yes...Of course I made one... I have 12 different jars FULL of candy. Costco has an amazing set of 3 apothecary jars for 40 dollars.... they really look great with all of the other jars that I bought from second hand stores.
Quick Tip..when gluing the ribbon around the jars, fill the jar with water...it's an easy measuring tool... PS...Burlington Costco is having a "Confectionery Sale" this Thursday September 11th! |

Speeches
Keeping them Short
We recently went to a friend's wedding where they had a "GONG". The MC announced that everyone giving a speech had been given a time limit by the bride and groom and those who exceeded the time limit would be "gonged" by the bride and groom.
In the end, it led to a lot of laughs... We decided to do something similar..but using the "Oscar" music that is played when an actor's speech is too long. We'll only use it in the beginning when the MC announces the "speech limits" and for the best man because he's GUARANTEED to talk forever! |

Bridesmaid "Wedding Day" Necessities
I made little "Day of Kits" and flower girl purses with some surprises inside for my ladies. They're too cute... although the pictures don't really do them justice!
