After months of trying to decide on an invitation, I finally did it...Thank God! I can now move on to bigger and better things :) !
I really wanted to pay attention to the wording on my invite to make it meaningful. My fiance and I were friends for several years before we realized that we had a spark...so..the beginning of the invite reads:
In Celebration of a friendship turned into love, New Family, and New Beginnings.....etc I love it :)
July 26th - all invitations are in the mail! yessssssssss :)
BUT....... we just bought our dining room furniture for 2g's cheaper than what it was at the actual store. My parents made the membership money back plus some in their kitchen cupboards alone. It's insanely ridiculous how much mark-up there is in stores.
The Pocket folders were about %60 off. Needless to say, I also bought monogramed napkins!
Everyone who I talked to advised me not to try to make my own pocket folders...pain in the @ss.....
The sparkly brown damask paper was bought at Michaels - It's expensive so it's just used for the trimmings.
I downloaded a 30 day trial of adobe photoshop. (which is intimidating but not so bad once you get the hang of it)
Lastly, I used a place called Printer.ca to print my stuff. They're great to work with and a family friend who used to be in the printing business recommended them by saying he wasn't sure how they still stay in business with their prices.
I hope that helps!
best wishes
give some info how you did them.
