i'll be 20 and the FI will be 2!! just like you and your FI, we get some people that think we're too young. but i dont let them get me down. we've been together for almost 6 years!! but, i do have to have my parents sign for me because you have to be 21 in mississippi....haha i think its funny. but i'll be 21 in july!! oh well, i dont think youre ever to young to be in love!!

We'll both be 27... I had two friends get married at 21/22 and one of them is now divorced and the other is happily married so I don't believe that age is necessarily a negative factor as long as you know yourself, know each other and are willing to grow together. Good luck to you both!

It's not about age. I have known that I've wanted to marry him since I was 17 and we dated here and there nothing serious yet and within the last 2 years we have been so much more serious and I got to say "I told you so" to many of my friends when they said I was crazy for wanting to marry him so young. 4 years and we're finally getting married :)

We will both be 33. I have to disagree with the point about age not mattering...at least for us age certainly mattered. We spent our 20s traveling, partying, going to college(I got my Masters degree and FI got his BS degree), and learning about ourselves individually. I truely believe that your 20s is a time of rediscovering and learning who you are and thats what we did. I know exactly how you feel. My husband and I were married a few weeks ago. I'm 20 and he's 21 - we both just turned. However, we've been together for five years and couldn't be happier. The people that really know us would never tease us for how young we are, but those that didn't know us very well would tell us what a mistake we were making. Don't let ANYONE tell you you're making a mistake because of your age. It depends on the couple, the love, not the age.

If nothing else, think of it this way: my parents were married at the same age as my husband and I. They were together for a lot less time prior, and yet here they are, 25 years later, still married and still in love.

i will be 27 and my fiance will be 30! It doesnt matter how old you are. The only question you have to ask yourself is "Am I ready?" and know that you are getting ready to make a life changing decision!!!

Age is just a number, if you feel in your heart your ready then that's all that matters. When I get married I'll be 23 and my Fl will be 22. I get the your to young all the time, but if people don't like then they don't have to be apart of it. In the end if its what makes you and your FI happy then that's all that matters anyways.
