i'll be 20 and the FI will be 2!! just like you and your FI, we get some people that think we're too young. but i dont let them get me down. we've been together for almost 6 years!! but, i do have to have my parents sign for me because you have to be 21 in mississippi....haha i think its funny. but i'll be 21 in july!! oh well, i dont think youre ever to young to be in love!!

i meant my fiance will be 22 not 2 haha

yes i know exactly what you mean! everyone is like "your toooo young why do you want to get married" blah blah me and my fiance are 20 now and will be 22 when we get married we will have been together for 6 yrs on our wedding date.. i dont think it should matter to everyone else if your happy then who cares

We'll both be 27... I had two friends get married at 21/22 and one of them is now divorced and the other is happily married so I don't believe that age is necessarily a negative factor as long as you know yourself, know each other and are willing to grow together. Good luck to you both!

I understand what you mean about the slack targeting. I'll be 21 maybe 22 (birthday is november) when we get married (date is flexible) and he'll be 24/25 (he's december).

It's not about age. I have known that I've wanted to marry him since I was 17 and we dated here and there nothing serious yet and within the last 2 years we have been so much more serious and I got to say "I told you so" to many of my friends when they said I was crazy for wanting to marry him so young. 4 years and we're finally getting married :)

I'll be 28 and my fiance 24. His friends told him they would get him a male stripper if he married me before 25! I think they changed their minds since they got to know me. I couldn't imagine getting married at 20 but that's just me. My nephew is 21 and his girl is 20. They're getting married and I couldn't be happier for them. It only depends on you two.

I will be 24 and FI will be 26. We waited til I was a bit older, we got engaged on our 4 year anniversary. We had to go through a lot, and I had to figure out what I wanted career-wise and graduate from college before we both felt like we were ready to get married. I don't think age matters, I think it is extremely important for both people to be absolutely sure of who they are individually. And for me, I didnt figure that out until age 22. :)

21 and 19 we dated in high school and then moved on to other people and then back to each other and I know we grew through all our experiences but I wish we had only been with each other the whole time.

I think I'm the oldest.. I am getting married 8 days after my 40th birthday.  My FI will be 35. First (and last) marriage for both of us.  Sometimes it takes a little longer to find "the one"!!  I guess if your 20 or 40.. all that matters is that you know.

We are getting married August 30 2008 and my 22 birthday is August 22 2008. My HB will be 26 years old.

My mom was 19 when she got married and my dad was 23 and they have been happily together for 27 years. So I say age has nothing to do with it!

We're engaged at 22 (me) and 24(him), but on our wedding day I'll be 24 and he will be 26. We have a two year engagement because I finish school in December and need the time to get established in a career job, and so that we will have a double income to support the wedding.

We haven't gotten any flack from family or friends about our ages, but I did expect some. Anyone who is getting married or is married knows: when you know, you know!

we met when  we were 13 but never knew we liked each other until we were 15 and finally got together when we were 17 (would have gotten together sooner but distance kept us apart)
