Pushed the wedding back

So, we've decided to move the wedding back another year..so it will be 2010 instead of 2009. Its been something we've been considering for a while, but just finally decided on. It's definitely not something we want to do, but in the long run, makes more sense. Anyway, its kinda sad and I'll probably be moping around for a few days..but the wedding will come eventually. I just never wanted a really long engagement, and the wedding is a VERY VERY long time away. At least in my mind..lol.

How disheartening!  I know how hard it is too wait.  Back in February when we got engaged, I knew we wouldn't be getting married until September 2009.  It's good to know that we're doing it at a good time instead of just getting married quickly.  In 3 years when you've been married for a while, we won't even remember that you had to wait, but I bet we'll be glad we were patient and made the wedding perfect!

It'll  happen. You're young and have plenty of time to get married. I had to do the same thing, THREE TIMES!! But it makes it that much more special when you actually DO get to plan your wedding.

Stick around and get ideas. It will make planning easier when that time comes.

I have to wait until 2012! It's depressing but it's for the best, the ceremony will only be more kick ass now. You have more time to change your mind and get new ideas! You'll see, everything happens for a reason!!

I know exactly how you feel.  As time goes on you will feel a little better, but the discouragement does come in spurts.  Hang in there, like the other brides said, because I've learned that with time, it is much better to cover all the details rather than feel anxious & rushed.  Keep on planning girl & have fun while you're at it! It'll be here soon!!

Don't worry about it!
I have been engaged since December and we aren't getting married until September 2010.
Right now it seems like a long time away but its kinda fun to be able to have such a long tmie to get EVERYTHING perfect. It kind of also gives you an extra year to plan things without having to put out a lot of money to book things!
Take your time, enjoy your planning, and it will be here sooner than you think!

Don't worry about the days until the wedding. I got engaged July 2007 and we are not getting married unitl July 2009. Just think of all of the things you can take your time doing. I still have a year left and have everything done. Even the stag and doe hall which is not until may 2009. Don't worry about it you will thank yourself in the end with less stress
