DIY LIGHTING TO DO OR NOT TO DO???

Its only 12 days to my wedding and I CANT BELIEVE IT!!! Any way I have a huge dilemma...I had to cut my lighting company because it was totally making our budget unmanageable. Now I know it was a good decision I still want lighting. I have found this website called rentmywedding.com they will let you rent lighting and you do it yourself. I so want to do it but don't know what i will be getting myself into. I only have a couple days to decide so I NEED YOUR ADVICE PLEASE TO DO OR NOT TO DO IT. I know its just lighting but I feel like it makes a wedding even more beautiful.

PS. I have a wedding coordinator and she said she does not want to do it so my finance volunteered to do the morning of the wedding. I don't know that may be putting on a little to much pressure....

I say do it I plan on doing the same. I'm using a website called www.diylighting.com to get my lights like your website there lights are 19.99 per light. Some of my family memebers said they would set it up for me. If your FH dosent mind then this might be the way to go to get your look for your wedding especially if your budget will not accomodate a higher priced vendor. Good luck with your decision.

Go for it! I love uplighting lighting. Thats why I picked the Dj that I did...there package was very reasonable & it includes uplighting. Otherwise i wouldn't be able to afford it.

Thanks ladies for your input. Im still trying to decide what I am going to do!!  Guess I have to figure it out before the end of the week. Wish me luch lol :)
