WONDERFUL NEWS
We are Pregnant!!
I just told my husband I can't believe I haven't blogged on here since October!! Crazy!
WONDERFUL NEWS: We are expecting! Our due date is October 31st! Any of you who know me know that October is my favorite month ever!! And its funny because my birthday is in October, my husbands birthday is in October and our dating anniversary is in October, and now our BABY! We have wanted a baby for so long, it will be 6 years in October that we have been together. And we have wanted a baby from like 2 years in :) WE ARE SOOOOO EXCITED (and I am a little scared, to be honest) But we find out June 12 what the baby is. I am pretty sure I felt the baby move for the first time, it just felt like a weird flutter. It was amazing. Anyways I just wanted to share the news with the girls that I miss so much! Hope all is well in the wedding planning world, I would be lying if I said I didn't miss it! HAVE FUN! XOXO KKRWIFE |

One Year Married
And in 14 days it will be 5 Years Together
Well our one year anniversary came and went so quickly! Just as our first year together did. I am the luckiest girl to be married to such an amazing, caring, wonderful guy!
On our anniversary my husband sent me beautiful flowers, bought the movie Bridesmaids for me, made me dinner and took these awesome pics with me! I love how some of our one year pics turned out! :) I will post more when we get them back! :) I went back to the doctor to get my blood work done again and things are looking better, just being on my thyroid pills alone have regulated me and made my hormones stop acting all crazy! So maybe after all I will start ovulating on my own :) That will make me so happy! Send us good baby making vibes! LOL. And I have finally decided that I am going to go back to school to be a dental assistant! I will hopefully be able to work part time doing hair to work my way through school and my husband is deciding between Mechanical engineering or electrician. So that is pretty exciting news as well! I am trying to decide which start date is better for me November 7 or January 3rd!? Anyways hope all you ladies are doing well! Good luck with everything and Ill be back to update again in a little while! XOXO kkrbride/kkmwife |

Our First Year Anniversary is Coming Up...
September 25th will be our 1 Year
Well I can't believe its already September! The time is flying by!! Our 1st year anniversary will be on Sunday the 25th of September. We don't have any big plans. Except our wedding photographer is driving to Boise and she is going to be doing our family pictures on that day! I can't wait!!
A lot has changed since we got married a year ago. We have moved 4 hours away from where we were, to Boise, Idaho and we are LOVING it! My husband is selling new cars here and he is enjoying that. And I am still doing hair in a salon. I love it but we are both looking into starting school. I want to study HORTICULTURE so I can create and design WEDDING FLOWERS!!! Yay! And my husband is still indecisive as to what he wants to do. I'm sure he will figure it out :) We have been trying to start a family but there are a few issues with me that are making us unable to get pregnant. I have gone to the doctor, they ran some tests and found out that I have hypothyroidism, so he put me on pills for that and I can already tell a difference in how I fell. I am also insulin resistant which they aren't too worried about because that can be fixed with diet and exercise but it also leads to the other thing I have called PCOS, which is polycystic ovarian syndrome, which basically means I'm not ovulating and my hormones are all jacked up. So I go back at the end of this month to get my blood tested again and see what has changed and if everything is looking good then he will start treatment for the PCOS. So I am thinking we will be starting a family in a year or so. Which I am fine with, especially if we are thinking we want to go to school to get our associates degree. Anyways I miss all you girls sooo much! I hope all is well! Ill post our family pics after we get them done! Good luck all you new brides!! XOXO kkmwife |

Missing the Planning
I miss planning our wedding!
I had such a wonderful experience planning our wedding and now its been 8 months and I MISS IT! I plan on opening my own wedding rental shop, just out of my home! Just so I can still help people plan and organize their wedding!
HELP ME think of some super cute business names for my wedding rental business!! I plan on renting out our custom made S'mores bar accessories, candles, vases, centerpieces, linens(if I can find some to buy) and anything else I can find for weddings! <3 <3 <3 I miss all you girls too and keeping a wedding blog! My husband and I are doing very well, we plan on moving back to Boise, Idaho at the end of this month. Where he is going to start school and I am going to keep doing hair! As soon as he is done with school in a couple years, I plan on going back to school! Can't wait!! Hope all is well in the wedding planning world! XOXO KKRWIFE p.s. can't believe in 4 months I will have been married a year! THAT FLEW BY!!!!! |

Honeymoon
We're Back!
We had such a fun time on our cruise! And I would definitely do another cruise in the future.
We stayed at the Queen Mary Hotel the night before we got on the cruise ship! I was scared to stay there because of the all the rumors that it was haunted, but I saw no ghosts and we had a wonderful stay!! While we were in Long Beach we went to the Aquarium of the Pacific. It was amazing. I loved seeing all the different kind of fish and sea life. I actually got to touch a sting ray, shark, anenome, sea cucumber and a sea urchin. It was a good time. The next day we got on the big cruise ship, we got our itineraries and it turns out they pulled us out of the Mazatlan port because something was going on there and they felt it was safer to keep us out of there. So we got to spend two days in Cabo San Lucas instead of just one. I still had the best time. The first day in Cabo we just did our Sail & Snorkel excursion which was great! First time I ever snorkeled and it was fun, until we say a HUGE jelly fish and decided that the being in the boat was the best idea. :) After snorkeling we sailed and drank some yummy drinks and then we headed back in to do some shopping around, We mostly just hung out ate some food and chilled. The next day in Cabo we just shopped lots more and looked all around. We loved going to the little flea markets. We were able to find lots of fun souvenirs. We also spent some time at Cabo Wabo which was awesome cause they had a live band playing and it was so much fun. The next day we were in Puerto Vallarta, and early that morning we went to do our Jeep Safari Excursion. That was so much fun. We rode all around in our own jeep. We went up into the hills in some remote villages, to a tequila factory and back down into the city and the finally to the beach where we could just chill and have some more drinks. It was so much fun! After that we just tripped around and looked at all the sites. We actually had dinner on the beach at sunset. It was so awesome and just as perfect as could be. Not to mention I had the most delicious OCTOPUS CEVICHE TOSTADA I have ever had!! Yummy! Anyways we ended our cruise with two sea days and it was actually really fun. The ship has lots of fun shows and a casino. So we were able to fill up our time nicely. I love my husband and our honeymoon was definitely worth the wait! I can't believe we are already back and having to go back to work. BLAH, I just want to lay in the sun and relax! But until next vacation Ill just have to keep dreaming about it. Hope all your planning is going well! I would definitely recommend the Carnival Splendor 7 day cruise to Mexican Riviera to anyone we had such a great time. ( The only thing is I forgot some of my stuff in our room on the cruise ship, luckily Carnival is great and has a lost and found, so hopefully (fingers crossed) I will get all my stuff back!!) Until next time Peace & Love kkrbride/ kkrwife Kylee McKenna <3 |

Honeymoon
Counting Down the Days....
31 Days Until We Fly to L.A. , I am beyond excited, we have had this vacation planned for over a year! And now its a month away!! This is the best! I found out that I get a week's PAID vacation from work for my honeymoon! That is good news!
So we are doing the Mexican Riviera cruise. We are flying into L.A. the day before we cruise and that night we are staying on the Queen Mary. I am nervous and excited. The cruise ship doesn't leave until 4:30 p.m. on Sunday so we are going to go to the Long Beach Aquarium, and just going to hang out. We have a fun day at sea for the first 2 days. And then our first port is Puerto Vallarta where we are going to do a Jeep Safari and Beach Adventure! Then I'm sure shop around and have some drinks. Our next port is Mazatlan where we have decided to do the Mexican Show, Sightseeing and Shopping. That will be lots of fun! And our last port is Cabo San Lucas and we have decided to Sail & Snorkel! I am excited since I have never snorkeled before. It will be a great time! Writing our trip out like this makes it seem so short, I want our honeymoon to last forever! These past 5 months of marriage have been amazing!! I am one lucky girl for finding this man! He is so good to me and does all he can for our little family of 3, (Me, Hubby and our dog Dozer!) Im sure Ill update when I get back from the honeymoon and I will have tons of pictures to share!! I sure miss this sight. And I miss all you girls!!! XOXO kkrwife! |
