Two Deaths in My Family this Last Week.

It's been a hard week, first, my uncle was found dead on the 5th of July and that has been so hard cause it was sooo unexpected. We just had his funeral on the 10th of July. And then I was at work today and my Grandma called me and let me know that her Fiance', my Grandpa died today at Noon. And that was sooo hard, cause we just barely saw him on Saturday after the funeral. I was obviously lucky enough to see him before he passed, but it still is so hard. I really just want to make sure my Grandma is okay. She means the world to me!!! The funeral arrangements are still pending and I hope he is in a better place now.


And if any of you had read my previous posts from April, it is NOT the same Grandpa that had major heart surgery.

It might be selfish of me to say this right now, but it feels like a lot to swallow in such a short time, I know life has to go on but right now my family is really having a tough time.

I hope these next couple weeks will only get better for my family.

So sorry for both your losses hunny. I just went through the same thing last week with my grandma whom was my closest and last grandparent. I can't even imagine having to deal with the death of two loved ones. My thoughts are with you and your family. It will be tough for some time, but keep them close to you in your memories and heart - remember all the wonderful times you shared to help get through. xxx

That doesn't seem selfish, that IS a lot to swallow at the same time. So sorry! I hope that your wedding and planning is going to break the sun through the clouds for you. I know it's not easy to focus on the positive at times like this.. I do like to kinda think of the fact that death, albeit tragic and a loss for those left behind, is also a reminder to us to enjoy life. I hope that makes sense. I'm not saying bounce back and party already.. I'm just saying that I hope that the good stuff about your life and wedding overshadows the sadness you're feeling right now.

sweety I realy do feel your pain, my boys father Died on thursday....he had a heart problem, but it was still unexpected...
  So with less then 100 days untill Our wedding  We have everything on staled... to deal with, no wills, conflictes over barial/ verses cremation.... who gets what and ppl forget that in the middle are 2 very young boys who one doesnt quite understand it all....But I beleave God gives us only what we can handle... stay strong youll be fine.
