im picky too and i dont want to DIY them..i hate crafts lol. So finding ones i like and for cheap is hard. I ended up finding some classic simple beautiful invites that i will post a pic of once i order them in a few months.. love them..you will find them!
There are plenty more designs in her shop, and she can customize them to any color to match your wedding. Best of all they are reasonably priced, using white stock paper is only $2.08 each including envelopes and enclosure cards.
I hope this helped. Let me know what you think of them?
i am doing my own, but i helped my friend look for hers and she found them at http://www.invitationsbydawn.com/ they will send you a catalog i think too...GOOD LUCK!!
I had an awful time finding ones I liked, I ordered 16 different samples and hated them all! haha I finally found bellafigura.com, they had the exact invite I wanted. They were expensive, but oh-so worth it.
I definately know how you feel about wanting the perfect invitation! I was just there not too long ago! Well since you're still looking for invitations, you should check out my Etsy store! I specialize in hand-embossed and fabric-wrapped invitations. They truly are unique and different from most of the invitations out there in the invitation world. I have 100% feedback rating and would love to help you out. If you don't see anything you like in my store, send me a message on Etsy or email me and I'd love to create some custom for you! Just let me know!
I had problems too finding a design I liked that came in my colors, was good quality and within my budget. I ended up finding some AMAZING pocket fold ones on magnetstreet.com for LESS than the flat ones I had originally planned to get. Plus the quality of the paper was much better. They look WAY expensive and it'll only cost me a little over $500 for 250 invites, RSVP cards, Reception cards, seals, envelopes, AND address labels!!! I can't wait to order them!
If you're interested, check out my blog, or my website at www.unmistakablyyou.com. I've got one that's very similar to this, called "Fuscia Pocketfold Invite". I can work with your budget and custom design to suit your taste. Contact me for a quote if you're interested.
I'm a graphic designer and freelance custom wedding invitations for brides on a budget. I'd be happy to do them for you. I have samples of ones I worked up for myself for my wedding. I also have other ones I could email you. PM if your interested :-)
OMG! I know exactly what you are going through right now.
Have you checked out minted.com?
I saw a few Save The Dates that I liked on there and was kind of bummed because I need invitations, come to find out that they will work with you and change the format. Not sure about other invitation designs, but at least on the Save The Date conversion to invitations.
I really liked this site: I should probably preface that I really like non-standard invitations... :)
Ok, I found these a while ago-- they are a little expensive-- but so beautiful ! And you can add different SCENTS to your invites! http://www.mypersonalartist.com/stargazerlilyweddinginvitations.html
You could try this place, they have a nice selection and they give you free samples. I ordered some samples in invitations I liked and they came really fast. I will probably order my invites here. Also they are pretty affordable.
