Vendor Review
Save-On-Crafts
I had ordered some 46" Salix Branches from Save-On-Crafts.com I ordered them last Wednesday, I immediately got a Order/Confirmation Number from Save-On-Crafts and as soon as UPS got the order they sent me a tracking number to track my order. Save-On-Crafts estimated the day of arrival as today and that is when it came. They were fast, decent shipping and the product is awesome. I am definitely going to order more of these Salix Branches.
Thanks Girls. kkrbride I ordered all my vases from Dollar Tree at the same time, I had all the vases shipped to the local store to save on shipping.I was told they would be available for pick up today and when I went to pick them up today and they weren't there. So hopefully within the next couple days they will show up. They are already bought and paid for, so I'm crossing my fingers I don't have any more problems with the Dollar Tree. {the cute picture is of my little brother showing the size of the branches, I ordered 4 Bundles and this is how they arrived. I think they are great especially for $4 each} |

What I wamt my bands to look like
I'm getting two bands to go with my engagement ring and I'm looking for something different but that will still go with my engagement ring. So what do you girls think? I have 16 Princess cut diamonds that will make up my two wedding bands. And yes I want to combine the princess cuts with the brilliant cuts. Just to mix it up a little. :)

Popcorn Bar for Favor
I am a popcorn fanatic and when I saw the popcorn bar idea I thought it was perfect for our wedding favors for the end of the night. I LOVE the idea. I also found some black bags to put the popcorn in and I will print out some cute thank you quote or something to put on the outside of the bags. Remember its all in the details. Right? Any others ideas would be wonderful. Thanks.
I found these wonderful little black bags on www.papermart.com and the are a super great price. $10 for a case of 250, I doubt I will need that many but I wanna make sure I have enough. I'm debating between the first pic which is a black frosted bag, so kinda see thru, I am assuming and then the second it just a matte black small paper bag. What do you all think?? |

Just Ordered Some Goods
I just went on a little internet shopping spree
I found all the glass vases on DollarTree.com and they came in cases so I got 1 case of 6 for $6 and then the other ones are in cases of 12 so I got two cases of 12 so $24.00. They are 3", 7 1/2" and 9 1/2" And the salix branches came in a bundle 46" high by 5" thick and those were each $3.99 so I ordered 4 Bunches of that. And I found those on save-on-crafts.com. Hopefully I will be able to order some more stuff next week. Im still unsure what I am going to do with the branches. But I do know I want them BLACK. Any ideas how to make that happen!? and maybe some black glitter...Help Me!! Thanks girls. |

My Little Sisters Wedding
Im Helping Her Plan
So since my little sisters wedding is in less than 100 days ( she is getting married May 1st) I figured I would take a break from my planning to help her out a little bit. Her theme is a vintage garden party and her colors are charcoal, pink and cream. She wants vintage birdcages with flowers and twigs as her centerpieces. ( we are pretty opposite. hahaha )
She will get married in an LDS temple and then have a luncheon. For her luncheon she is serving chicken salad on croissants with pasta salads, fruit, cheese, raspberry lemonade. For her reception she really wants cotton candy. And Im assuming some cake as well. How fun. Our parents are gonna be broke after we both get married this year. |

Handmade Necklace for My BM's
I just finished my first SAMPLE necklace that will be the gifts to my bridesmaids. I made it so I can see how much chain, beads and ribbon I will need to make like 7 of these! I tried it on and I LOVE how it turned out!
I might shorten the chains up a tiny bit and where I connected the ribbon to the ring, I will sew that with my sewing machine so it won't be the knots where the ribbon is. I love the bow that closes the necklace! :) I can't wait to make more! Let me know what you think. |

My Little Sister is Engaged
Today my little sister got engaged. Yay, congrats to them! The only thing is that they are getting married before me and Michael. Their date is set and it will be on May 1, 2010. Only a couple months to go.

I found more vases, this time at WalMart, they are 3 1/2" X 10" clear cylinder vases. They were $2 each and I just picked up a few. I have an idea in my head of what I want and so I just keep on picking up things as we go. I can't believe I only have 230 days left! Crazy! But I love it and I can't wait.
