Just Made Something Real Quick and put on card stock. I figure these are just kind of straight forward and to the point.
I don't know where I will put them at the reception though! REDO: Had to add a little something to the tops and bottoms, it was just too plain. :) |

Fun Piece For Above the Bar
The First Pic is my inspiration picture and I can't remember where I found it! So if its your let me know and I will give credit where credit is due! Thanks.
Anyways I want a statement piece to hang over the gorgeous bar they have at my venue and this is what I found. I am going to order 8" purple lantern, 12" white lanterns and then a stack of black tissue paper to make some BIG pom poms to hang. I don't know if I am going to use lights so I will order all this stuff and then just play with it until I find something I LOVE! And then if the statement piece doesn't work, I can use the lanterns and poms to decorate the outside patio where our s'mores bar is going to be! Can't wait. |

DIY: Thank You to Family & Friends
Inspiration from Style Me Pretty blog post...
This is our thank you to our family and friends, I think I am going to put this next to our guest book so that each guest will be able to take a second to read it. I was able to use my fun packing tape i got from Michael's for a DOLLA! :) So excited, I like the different fonts I used as well as the frame I got from the dollar store today! I also used the PowerPoint program to make this. This whole project probably cost me $1.50 cause I still have tons of tape left and all i really needed was a printer. |

Repost: Finished Wedding Program
So I finished the Mock Up of our wedding programs and I love them!! I have had a couple girls ask about a template and I didn't have a template, I just found my inspiration pic and then used my PowerPoint program to put this all together.
I decided to tie the ribbons on the sticks and I am going to alternate colors. Using all of our wedding colors. So black, purple and the ivory. :) I love the sticks, now it can double as a fan! I can usually do two or three pieces of cardstock at a time in this punch, it really didn't take that long at all!! |

Repost: Activity Book
I finished putting the kids' activity books together today! I made 15 books total. I think that will be enough. Each book has 7 pages. Hopefully it will keep the little kids entertained while they are at the reception! I plan on waiting til school starts to buy boxes of Crayola Crayons, I figure they will be on sale then. And while I was at Michael's Craft Store today, I found this Printed Packing Tape that is purple and damask, they have lots of other colors too. It was only a $1 so I bought a couple rolls just to play with, hopefully I will find something to use it on :)
p.s. The cover of the activity book looks kinda pink, but it really is purple! |

I have been printing our programs today. I am just printing the word search right now cause I still have no idea who is going to marry us. And I need to tweak the text a little bit more :) But so far so good. I just put my phone next to these for size comparison. The final program is going to be double sided 6 1/2" X 5" I think they are a perfect size. I LOVE them!
And I rounded the corners with my handy little corner punch! |

For The Men
I found this first pic and I fell in love with the look of the groom and his groomsmen! This is such a perfect look. And the closeup of the bout, I just LOVE it. Basically the same that we are doing. With the Calla Lilies too. But I think the Groomsmen are just going to wear Black Shirt, Black Dress Pants, Black Belt, Black Shoes and then we are getting them their dark purple ties! And then my Groom is actually going to be wearing all black with the dark purple tie and then the vest and maybe the jacket, we will have to see what he decides! I just love it!
And for our Dads, they are wearing white shirt with a solid black tie. I think when it all comes together everyone is going to look sooooo SHARP! I can't wait. I did find a store in Utah where the sell most of their ties for 9.99 and I THINK for every one tie you buy you get a dollar off the next one! Candles, Candles and Ribbon :)
So I got a 25% off my entire purchase coupon in the mail for Michael's. So I decided to go on a little shopping spree today. I bought candles, candles and more candles. I got 72 ivory votive candles and18 floating candles and 64 votive holders and some more gorgeous dark purple ribbon! Oh and I also bought a recipe box and recipe cards for my kitchen, they were too cute, I couldn't resist. LOL.
I only spent $50 bucks. I think that is pretty good considering how much I got. I have exactly 4 months til I say "Hell YES" LOL. I'm so excited, its getting to be crunch time, cause if I feel like I don't have everything done that will just make me crazy!! Ill keep everyone posted with more DIY projects, Im still trying to decide what I am going to do with my hideous flower girl baskets I posted on my last post. XOXO kkrbride |

Flower Girl Baskets
Again, this ribbon is really a gorgeous dark purple color but in all the pics I take of it its turning out pretty damn purple. So these are the tin baskets I picked up last year some time. I spray painted it matte black and then I found this really pretty dark purple ribbon to wrap the handle and put bows on the sides. I don't know if I LOVE them. So I might try a few other things with them. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks ladies.
