This is klarock's Pink Wedding!

It has taken my forever to find something that I like. I didnt want anything to big as my tarra is enough until I went into Swarovski and saw this one. I really only wanted the necklace and earrings but the bracelet just completes it.

When I first saw these I feel in love with them. This is kind of how I picked pink and brown to be my colours. We had our engagement party Oct 2007. My grandma who has always been there for me could not make it as she was sick and in a nursing home. She had called me the morning of the party and asked me if I would stop in to see her on my way to the party. I know it was killing her inside not to be able to go. So we went and she said to me to that she bought me something so I opened this big gift bag and these were in there. Everyday after that she kept talking about my wedding and telling all of the nurses about how happy she was. Well Feb 10th 2008 I bought my dress another things that my grandma could not help out at and see me in my dress as she passes away Feb 17t 2008. I know she will be in my heart on the big day.

Well Rich and I are pretty big football fans. Rich played for Penn State. It was a pretty big time not only for Rich but also for the City of Hamilton. Having been given a football scholarship right out of highschool to go down and play for PennState. Well Rich has always been a San Fran 49ers Fan and I have been a New England (YES I KNOW I GET BUGGED ALOT ABOUT IT) So I thought it would be nice to have something that Rich likes for once in the wedding since everything else has been what I wanted. So there is a lady on ebay that makes different types of Garters. I wanted to get a Penn State one but when I got taking to Rich he doesn't really like Penn State he would rather have Michagain. Well I went back on ebay to look for a Michagain and could find one. So I went a head and ordered the 49ers. The things I do for Rich, since I really wanted to order the new england ones.

These are one of the first things I bought for the wedding off of ebay.

I had seen this cake cutting set in a bride mag but once again it was from the states. I went on the company website and for shipping they wanted double the money just to ship it. So I kind of left it and thought maybe I would find something different I still had a ton of time. Then Mothers Day I was in a Carlton Cards in the mall and I ran right into it on the back wall it totally made my day and it was even cheaper then the one in the states.

Well there is a story behind this before I met Rich the girls and I used to go to the mail alot like any girl does right??? I would always go into this tiny store that sold pictures and that to make sure that this cake topper was still there. I had this dream that when I become engaged I went to this store to finally get the cake topper and it was gone. Well the day after I got engaged I ran to the store to make sure they still had it and I was told that they are no longer sold in Canada OH GREAT. I was a little heart broken even more when I asked the lady where in the states I could order it as I am not that far from Buffalo, She said Vegus. After that I was really bummed out. But a couple of months later my aunt and uncle took a trip to Vegus just before my engagement party and at the engagement party my handed my this little card and said it will be shipped to me and I should have it in a couple of weeks. I finally have it and I can't wait to see it on my cake. This is something I can keep.

I so need help on which save the date to go with. My FH doesn't really care when it comes to Save The Dates he says go with whatever. Our engagement pictures are not until June 22, 2008. I have a little bit of time. PLease leave a comment on which one you like.

I have been thinking about some songs but I really need some feedback on a couple of ideas I have. I really really like THIS I SWEAR BY NICK LACHEY for our first dance. What do you think? The other day I cam across another song that I liked for our first song YOU HAD ME FROM HELLO BY KENNY CHESNEY. Which one do you think?. I know right now that my dad and I will be dancing to I LOVED HER FIRST BY HEARTLAND, but the only problem is that my dad is not really into the whole slow dancing thing and he really likes the song THUNDERSTRUCK BY ACDC. So what I am thinking is dancing half the dance to HEARTLAND and the other half to ACDC what do you think? Also my brothers mean the world to me and I really kind of want to do something special for them so I found a song that would be great for the big sister and little brother dance. MY WISH BY RASCAL FLATTS. So they are going to take turns dancing with me.

The dress is made by B2 which is a part of the same company as Jasmine. The dress is going to be a dark brown with light pink sash.

We went around and looked at different halls, alot of them I really didn't like. Rich's sister got married a couple of years ago and had her reception so I thought we would go and check it out. I loved it from the moment I walked in the place. So we are having our reception at Chandelier Place in Stoney Creek. This place has a ton of different room in all different sizes. We went with one of the big rooms as we are going to have close to 170 people. We took the Wentworth Room. As you could guess by the name of the place each room has a big Chandelier in the middle of the room. It is just perfect.

We picked our hall for the stag and doe. It will be at St. Nicholas Banauet Centre in Hamilton, Ontario. I fell in love with this hall as soon as I saw it to bad we had already booked our hall for the wedding or I would have had it there. The hall holds 350 people so it is nice and big, We picked the day May 2 2009. So alls we have to do is start planning I can't wait

It is actually a long long long. I was leaving to go away July 2007 for my girlfriends wedding and we had talked about getting engaged but Rich told me that we would not get engaged before I leave to go down east as it would not be fare to my friend. Before I left I was talking to my aunt and found out that my two aunts are leaving to go away a couple of days after I got back, so my two aunts and uncle and rich and myself planned on going for dinner on the friday night before they left. When I got back from down east Rich had said to me that he invited his parents, my parents and brothers out for dinner as well. Then I started wondering what was going on. I was talking to my aunt before we met them and she said she was bringing her camera I was thinking to myself who brings a camera out for dinner. Not only that both of my brothers showed up. Anyways once I started eatting I stopped thinking about things becuase the day before I started talking about getting married and Rich just said stop talking about getting married it won't happen for a while I want to buy a house first and he just kept going on and on and on. So I said fine. Well it turned out that I was the only one that ordered dessert that night as I was eatting Rich said to me that he was just going to thank everyone for coming and if you know me I am not the one to make a big scene in a public place so I said no. But of course he went a head and did it. I just got everyone to stop talking and said " I just wanted to thank everyone for coming out tonight I know it has been a special night for Krysten and Myself by getting the two families together, but I know it would be even more special (as he is pulling the ring out) If Krysten you would marry me. Well just then the only thing I could say was SHUT UP I HATE YOU. HA HA HA.

Ok where do I start with this one. I know that at the hall I am having white table clothes with light pink and dark brown runners also every other place is going to have either a light pink or dark brown napkins as also the bows on the chairs. I had a really nice idea that since I have a guest book and people can only sign there names not really a place to leave a message I thought about getting a big vase put some ribbon on it and leave some cards on the table where people can write messages and leave them in the vase for us I have posted a pictures of what I am talking about. I have also downloaded a picture of a cake table that I like. I am also having another table set up the same as the cake table but it will be for memory candle for Rich's and Mine Grandparents who have passed away. Downloaded a picture of the candles

My cousin (well not really my cousin) more like my dads uncles daugthers husband owns his own photography and d.j business. So he is going to do our engagement pictures and as well as our picture for the wedding. He is also going to be our d.j for our stag and doe as well as the wedding. I have downloaded some pictures that I would like to have taken of us.

There is a couple of places we are looking at for invitations. Each place has different ideas. The pictures are of one that I have picked out from a place in St. Cats that I really really like. I am about 90% sure we are going to go with this one. Just keep in mind where ever you see black it will be dark brown. But everything else is going to be the same.

I went to 5 different store. I finally found the one. My dress that I picked was one that I didn't really like on the hanger but my girls and family really wanted me to try it on. So fo course the dress that I didn't really want to try on ended up being the dress I fell in love with. I bought my tarra off of ebay  I love it.
JUNE 20th
I picked up my dress is veil today as well as my shoes I love them so much I wish I could wear them now.

I am like all girls always buying wedding mags. The first one that I bought which was before we even got engaged. I found the flowers that I really really like, but then again I found other ones too but now I have gone back to the first one that I liked. Mine are going to be white and light pink roses and the girls are going to have light pink roses. Once I get the pictures scanned onto the computer I will download it,

As far as the cake. I kind of know what I want. Just something basic with a little colour. My cake topper is an off whtie colour so I going to have the icing the same colour and of couse the ribbons the dark brown and light pink. It is still up in the air right now as to what kind for flavor we are going to have. The other thing I don't know about is do I have a 3 levels are 4 levels
