NEW TO THE SITE :)

hello ladies I just got engaged last week I am soo excited to start this process, I just dont know when I should start planing, my wedding is not until 2013 my family was telling me that its wayyyy to early to start so how early or late should I start planing for my big day??????

It might be a little early to do any serious planning, like booking vendors and stuff but it isn't too early to start coming up with ideas and everything. You have plenty of time to really nail down your colors/theme/ideas. Happy Planning!

NEVER too early! WBC is amazing for getting advice or ideas from all of us other brides. Even if you just get new ideas or get opinions on some of your ideas, it's still planning!

We got engaged in 2008, and we're not getting married until next year! planning early will give you LOTS of time to figure stuff out. don't start putting deposits on things until about 16 months before the wedding,(which is still REALLY early) because you might change your mind about something. SHOP AROUND!
