Wedding planning
Wow can't believe it's been 3 months since i last posted on here. We're at 80 days to go! Wow seems like yesterday i started this whole process. So what's going on?...Well caterer has been picked and we're working on a menu. Also the floral decor is all picked and planned. My cake is going to taste great! I picked out 3 different flavors one for each tier. At the moment I am working on finishing the invitations to get them sent out next month.
Next week We are doing out professional engagement photos. On a sour note one of the bridesmaids didn't come through and get her dress so I had to remove her from the wedding. It broke my heart made me feel like I'm pretty much doin this all on my own . I just thought family would come through a lil more. Oh well...that's life. |

Meet my Bridal Party
Cedrick my wonderful Man of Honor. We've been friends since 9th grade. Love him to death. He is my Best Friend
Aunt Lisa My beautiful Matron of Honor. She's like my older sister. I love her and happy she has decided to be standing at my side on our wedding day. Tamara- My cousin. So blessed to have her a part of the wedding. Nina- My sis-in-law and she's getting ideas from this process for planning her own. Kanji and Court-ney are my Jr. bridesmaids but they both think they're already grown. They're the best cousins ever. |

I adored this dress and am happy with my selection. The bridesmaids will be wearing this dress on my big day! 3 will wear turquoise and 2 will be in fuchsia. Hope you ladies like.

Wedding Decoration
Ceremony Decor
In order to tie in some more Alice into the wedding I decided on a curly willow arch for the ceremony. Arches to rent were well in the $150-$300 dollar range.
Met with a potential florist yesterday and she said she could do this for me. I'm thinking after the ceremony the arch can be brought into the reception somewhere as a back drop for the cake or maybe behind the bride and grooms table with some lights and crystals hanging from it. What do you all think? |

Bridesmaids
Dresses that i like alot
So these are the dresses I have to choose from for bridesmaid dresses. My maids are allowed to wear either a turqouisey color or a fushiay color. Now it's just picking which dress to be the one that they wear. I'm a major shopper it's just the deciding that gets hard. I'm sure I'll get some input from them that will help in the final decision.

Flower Girl Dress
Found the cutest flower girl dress lookin around today it comes in hot pink and premier blue which match my colors closely. I have 2 flower girls that will wear black head bands with a bow in there hair to add the Alice look. Also has to have a colored sash or bow.I think they'll look great in this dress. I'm still hunting around though.

Well i think i'm slowly realizing what style of dress I like. Not wanting something too bulky. I like something like ball gowns with a nice cathedral train.
Just looking at dresses online can be pretty overwhelming. I can imagine what it's like in a Salon. |

Found the Groomsmen Socks!!
So i've been looking all over the net for socks that the groomsmen can wear for the wedding. I think it would be great for foto ops if they wear striped socks. I'm incorperating stripes and dots throughout the wedding here and there.
The other 2 pics are 1 pantyhose and the other are tights. They will be worn under my dress which will have a great peek a boo feel during the garter toss. I'm very excited :) I feel more in wonderland everyday. |

DIY Wedding
Wedding sign
I have put my brother who is an awesome artist, in charge of recreating this picture for my wedding sign.
I would like to figure out how to blow it up so that i can have it sit outside of the venue in the parking lot and point the guests in the right direction. I'm gonna hope he and I can sit down and figure out how this idea will work. He has to be on something sturdy enough to hold up on a windy day and i have to be able to place him on concrete. |
